Exactly my thoughts, the cost aside, it would be the best of both worlds And I suppose in theory this could be applied to a single turbo application rather than twins too as you'd have a turbo that would adjust from a small A/R to a larger A/R (with the same wheel size though I'd guess).

Could you use variable geometry turbo's on the 2JZ? A bit like what Ryan did with his V8, has no wastegate and the fins on the A/R adjust (smaller to bigger so to speak) to allow the quick response low down but then not being restrictive at the top end as the open up. Very similar technology to that in the 911 turbo's and GT2 cars.

The past two have cost me around the £750-£850 mark and alot depends on how much you get your foot down but also how much you drink at night

Yeah something is a little odd there as I'm 24 and paying £675 all mods declared on an import tt, but saying that I have 6 years no claims and the postcode loves to play a part. It won't be cheap but can't imagine it being £4k! As above try the companies suggested they seem to be the winners at the minute. I've found that comparisson sites sometimes aren't brilliant for younger drivers with a car that isn't well known (to the general population lol).

What you need is some LED facelift indicators;) The wheels have finished the car dude very nice! Are you going to colour code the trim pieces?

The NA autobox will not take 400bhp as far as I'm aware, you'd need to consider a TT autobox or a hybrid unit... Or go manual of course

Right now I'm back home I'll do a proper post rather than mobile videos lol. A massive thanks needs to go out to Adi for organising the event and really keeping on top of everything! It was one of the best and can't wait until next year! Also without Malcolm, Karen, Darren & Tom providing the support vehicles and pointers the event would not have been able to run as smooth as it did (despite Mark killing a bear part way through last night )... and last but not least thanks to Dave for all the cooking he did! Overall, a great few days and as always it's great to put more names to faces.
