  1. Thanks for the comments guys Mrs turtle summed it up really but will be going by Lee's & Ryan's advice for what is best rev limit wise
  2. Haha you can hear Ross thrashing his NA in the background
  3. You won't need to worry about that as it won't happen
  4. Wait until we both have the new setups then we need to have another run
  5. Yeah all right!!! Point made
  6. Dyno figures aside, I will point out Bieber's car is stupidly fast, the video that I'm uploading at the minute shows mine and his little 'sprint' and mine is known for being a strong BPU @1.1 bar with 405BHP (obviously my figure can also be questioned) at the fly, watch how he shifts!
  7. Fingers crossed yeah, with a built head (and 269 cams I think), it may have more in there, only Ryan will be able to say really
  8. Here's the graph using my tweaked version of the gear/tyre calculator
  9. James you did not get my good side at all Have to say I went out in this car yesterday around some great twisties, it really does drive well!! And the stance from the rear is spot on with the ride height and CCW's
  10. Welcome A nice buy there dude! I've embedded the pics so they can be seen without needing to click.
  11. It is most likely going to be done between January and April as it looks like I'm going to the States for 4 months with work so it would time well. That is of course if Lee can fit me in I'm giving Lee a ring later in the week to talk through everything so I'll update the thread with what is going to happen. I'm tempted to add some ethanol into the mix... literally
  12. Good point Mario, will look into the rebuild side The combination of the tyre size I'll be running and the ratios of the V161 have been the driver for the 3.538 ratio. I'll post up the gear graph showing the speeds etc when I'm home It should make for a quick street car
  13. Cheers dude What sold the clutch for me was Steve's and Jamie's cars both who have said the 'grab' eases over time, and knowing it can take anything I through at it is good to know, but I don't think I can match the 'pig' testing Recirc wise, this kind of links to my custom exhaust, I'm having a modified 4" midpipe where its splits to a 4" cut out for all the noise at the flick of a switch and then a quiet 3" twin box system for the normal route No dude lol, just after a lot of worrying and hard work a lot is starting to finally pay off

  15. And next to me Great day, thanks to Ben for sorting it!
  16. Edited And cheers dude for them! Was also worth the 10 minute mess around with the stiffness of my shocks too, spot on now
  17. Well thought I should update this as a few things have changed, the following purchases were made and most are currently en-route: - Big Twins - Greddy TD05's, unsure on whether to recirculate or not, the setup has a screamer pipe now. - HRE C93 Wheels - Front 18x9.5, Rear 18x11 - Virtual Works plenum & throttle body - Custom built turbo back exhaust system - Brembo F50 front brakes (356mm iirc) - OEM front mud flaps - for the great price of a bacon roll ) And I have reached a decision on the gearbox/diff combo: - V161 6 speed - RPS triple carbon clutch & flywheel (thanks to those that let me test clutches today ) which needs to be purchased - UK big auto diff (3.538 ratio) - TRD LSD It does mean a slight change to the built engine spec but will have a good chat with Lee first about better options etc before it's built
  18. Just looked at the services at toddington it's a 4.30 start for me, see you in the morning im off to bed
