  1. Leave the OEM spoiler on there, not that I'm biased
  2. How have you got quoted for a civic 1.5 for £500?!
  3. Well now the car has left my hands, Lee the new owner wants to carry on this thread. I'm glad all the progress of the car will be kept together Lee it's over to you...
  4. Thanks for the comments on how I've looked after it chaps I won't be going anywhere forum wise, made some good friends on here.

  8. Your old advans were 10" et35 and they are near as flush with my arch as they can be, I'd say you may struggle dude
  9. The better blocks are the pre 93/94 (I can't remember which year exactly) as it had the stronger bottom end. But as David said, the block and head are aluminium and the weight difference between the 2JZ and the 1UZ is incredible! I had one for a rainy day until it was taken I still wouldn't mind venturing into doing a TT6 1UZ
  10. Bump Is the next one on the 3rd Jan? As I'm in Ramsey and probably popping into see Mr Turtleshead so I may carry on down the A1 and pop along won't be in the Supra though but it would be good to have a catch up with people!
  11. Can't beat a nice gunmetal, which ford graphite grey is similar too But I have considered getting these refurbed in satin black
  12. This, and a few people receommended to me to have a flex section inbetween the wastegate and downpipe
  13. I know Mr Fitz has first refusal on my Advans if I sell them but I can't help but think my gunmetal advans would look very nice on your car Mark Great work Rob, looks fantastic!

    Tyre Size

It would gear the car up going to a 45 profile, your speedo will be out too. I'd also imagine your geo would need setting up again to account the size change. I understand your working to a cost but bare in mind with Supra's tyres wouldn't be a place I'd cut cost
  15. Typical Supra prep for me is: - 3M Ultrafina SE (a refining polish to correct any minor swirls, harsher compounds are used if needed) used with a DA (or rotary for little more cut) - Wipe down with IPA/water mix to make sure no polishing oils are left on the paint (allows the sealant to bond better to the paint and therefore last longer) - 3 layers of Zaino Z2/ZFX or Ammo skin (both very strong sealants and some panels on my car have had it on there for nearly a year and beads like it's only just been applied) - 1 coat of Ammo Creme - a wax to add depth to the colour and make it pop, I only add this the day before a show or after a full detail.

  17. I run a 18x10 et 35 with a 295/35 tyre, i had my arch lips cut back when it was in for paint as they will rub. It does sit perfectly with the arch though
  18. I'm a little confused, the op has requested information on the car and members have replied. These are opinions from people that know the car and are valid to that end so what's wrong with that? If I remember correctly Luke did sign up here and posted about owning the car and I can't remember seeing it in the classifieds. As constructive advice might I suggest if he is a member to post a full ad in the for sale section and then if the car is in the condition you state then it will sell itself surely?
  19. I've got CW fast road pads so the noise is more compared to when I had stockers in there, I know I may sacrifice some pedal feel though
