  1. Thought I'd share these vids, looks good!
  2. Does you first post say you have a cat fitted? If that's the case a restrictor ring wouldn't be needed. That said I wouldn't be raising the boost through the controller or emanage with the cat there (albeit it could've been mapped to account for the cat)
  3. When you've made a new thread and I'll lock mine
  4. This, and then post a link to my thread in your first post of the new one for anyone wanting look at the history?
  5. You can't change ownership of the thread, I can lock mine for you to start your own though?
  6. I think it will depend on tyre choice and ride height Dean, as 10.5" with a +25 offset will come out passed the arches I'd say, my Advans were 10" +35 and were near as dammit flush with the arch, it required a roll but I had them cut. But I do love the look of the wheels your going for can't see you having an issue with the fronts though

    Misfire.

As people have said dude, pop the new coil packs in and if that doesn't sort it try these spark plugs (you may be able to find them cheaper lol)
  8. This had crossed my mind, it's just my thoughts so far, I may do a full UK spec rebuild with stock twins for that reason and ignore the power element. Just like the porsche its 100% oem and any mods are simply bolt ons, which does make more sense That's what I meant, as if it was a Jspec I'd most likely have to put a big diff in which would be a different code to the plate
  9. Of course Cheers dude! Nope the 911 is staying, that's an investment that won't be leaving for a while
  10. I just can't keep away chaps This car will be clean, stock as it can be with a nice choice of mods. I'm just in talks with a chap on the U.S. Forum to get a Ross racing intake plenum. A bit more flow but no cutting of the engine bay so it can be put back to stock when I'm ready
  11. In fact watching that video I think she can change gear better than you dude
  12. Ahh hope it isn't terminal! Can they be rebuilt, are the parts available? Or maybe you should be the chap to try the precision 6870 although those greddy twins were/are the perfect setup imo
  13. Well this is something that was always in the making but due to wanting to experience others cars first a lengthy delay in my return to the Supra was created! This project in itself will be lengthy as I want to build it to my exact spec but due to work it will be slow so bare with me. I haven't bought a Supra yet and neither have I got one in mind but I have been on the hunt for a few months, I just haven't found the right one and without going into the nitty gritty I am being very picky, but I have time so I am not worried. Now the route this build will go will completely depend on the car itself, it could become a full restoration or only slight. However, due to what I want I highly expect this to become a full restoration! This leads me onto what I want from the build, I essentially want to build a Supra to my spec without any compromise. I attempted previously but in the end it wasn't the exact car I wanted. To explain this further, anything I do in this project will either allow me to keep it stock or I'll be able to revert completely back to stock when I desire so it can become the collectors item it may well be in years down the line. So the base of this project (when found) will be a UK TT6 or VVTI TT6. The UK TT6 will be where I believe a full restoration will be needed due to it most likely having dealt with our winters but so I can also satisfy my OCD. With a UK TT6 it has as much kit that Toyota can provide without it being classed as 'away from genuine spec', so the numbers will match (paint code, engine code, transmission code, diff code etc), this means I'm not swapping anything away from what originally came with the car based on the spec plate (e.g. fitting a big diff). Anything that is swapped will either compliment stock or can be swapped without any modification to stock parts. The project has been dubbed as the 'Supra S' which I think suitably sums up what I'm after. Porsche, Jaguar and some other manufactures use this for their 'better than original but still stock...ish cars'. They are generally lighter, faster and handle better but without compromising too much of the road use considering what your after if your buying that sort of car. I've had a look at colours but nothing is better than black when perfect, so it will be black (at least everyone knows how much I like cleaning!). Visually it will look very similar to SW's old car (I did own these wheels but will have to buy them again!): Now I won't be having the front lip I will be retaining the active spoiler and unfortunately the wheels are no longer on sale so I have been in talks with HRE about there equivalent wheel the C103 in a polished lip and silver face finish, the sizes will be 18x8 (stock front width) and 18x11.5, for tyres i will be running 235/40 and 295/35, the offsets and tyre sizes will allow the arches to be filled nicely without compromising handling. To give you an idea of the look (and the wrong colour) this is what they are:
  14. I've been sat in the distance with Supra's and builds these last 6 months or so and have realised more and more that a strong un-opened engine is a better option than rebuilding it when looking at the turbo size you are considering. I have been prepping my spec for when I return to ownership and I will be running the HKS T04Z turbo kit (zircotec coatings) with most likely the Precision GEN2 6266, but I've always been a fan of the GTX3582R as a great street turbo.
  15. Its sounds like this one! http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=2913
  16. Not fan of the new wheel but I am biased Glad to see your keeping it nice and polished just like I did
  17. Any reason you haven't considered 285/35 Tyres Lee?
  18. I'm glad someone did I'm glad your health is ok Lee
  19. Have to agree with Jamie, SW's Supra is my favourite, visually I had based mine on this, I was only missing the wheels (which I had bought!) and the TRD spoiler. It will be something I'll follow through again with the next Supra
