  2. Against Scott? are you serious? he used to kick my ass when I had a 160 brake ST182 celica, its all chassis and grip that little 1.8 he has! don't expect to be anywhere near him alex! nice one with the stickers, ballache of a job isn't it! took me a couple of hours to make mine up LOL gutted about the tyres matey i'm on ditchfinders myself mate, so i feel your pain! craig i'm sure the new engine will be worth the wait buddy even if you do have to run avons, hang in there bud
  3. Good stuff mate, hope it holds out Yeah i'm taking my stock NA for a play on the airfield its just a test day really to see how i think i'll go in my new motor. I have no competition in my class this year (F Street with the yaris) unfortunately, so i'm using woodbridge as a test day to see how i go with my supra out there. Lots of run off! :O The car is bone stock- except for a horrible (well, not my cup of tea) set of fox alloys, its nothing to right home about and i dont expect to be competitive- i just wanna have fun, enjoy the car and see how i get on with it
  4. Now have one and fitted it in minutes- top marks to wez for a great service to me there, thanks buddy Will have to have a mooch around soon and see how to give you feedback bud, never done that yet!

  9. Ha ha cheers! yeah good point. I did a similar thing on my '93 celica, and it made a hell of a difference to how modern the car looked. Will have a think about that one are these items expensive though? Not far off actually sir i'll give you that! It's 70's but a celica, the one that nobody else likes (including the missus ) heres a better pic: And here's another of the 1000cc monster that is my yaris: http://www.racingexposure.com/tss/2011/r1/Others/slides/IMG_0378.jpg Thanks again all for the warm welcome guys

Thanks for the warm welcome people means a lot Ha ha I work for another owners club, so i see where you are coming from there i'm overwhealmed with the tech advice one here its great- most things I've thought of asking I haven't had to yet, thats a massive compliment to the members on here Nice selection sir! wish I had the choice to those sets of keys in the morning TT sounds nice mate i'm sure you are just being modest. I wasn't at the last dyno day, was it a local one?? As for my other toyotas, one is parked in front of the supra on the pic in the original post, anyone any ideas what it is? My other has these stickers on: so yep it hardy fits in here, but I have lots of fun with it
  11. Hi All, I think its about time I introduced myself properly, I'm getting to the point where I'll be asking silly questions- I have been using your superb searches and guides but i'm a bit of an IT 'tard if i'm honest! I've been into toyotas for a while, and got my first Supra a few weeks ago. Heres a couple of pics, I'm sure like other OC's you like pics on here!: It's a 1993 NA 5 Speed, and so far I love it I used the fantastic and comprehensive buyers guide off this very forum, so many many thanks for that I also have a couple of other toyotas I mess with, they're pretty much in my blood now Also very interested in other makes, i'm by no means a one brand bloke, and i'm also interested in anything motorsport. So finally, a proper hello everyone
  12. Straightsix, you are a legend, many thanks PM on its way!
  13. Hi All, Apologies for the nOOb question but I'm new to Mkiv supras, and I have done several searches, none that I can find (so far) answer my question. I bought my 1st supra a few weeks ago, and it has become apparent that although the text on the ODO states "MILES" i believe it is actually clocking up in kilometers. Is this at all possible? I did a round trip to a regular destinantion, and I had to take a diversion due to traffic on the way which I expect would have added approx 20 miles to my trip. The normal route is 35 each way, so I expected about 90 miles to be clocked. On the trip meter I clocked 150 miles doing this journey! Using a rough 1.6 factor, if it was in KM's, thats 93.75 miles, much closer than expected. I then tested if the ODO was climbing at a different rate to the TRIP meter, but they are rising at the same rate. Does anyone know what the problem could be here? All the history and paperwork with the car states "mileage" not kilometers. The car was imported by a (now defunct) Japanese import dealer, so I'd assume the job was done correctly back in 2004 but you never know! Any help or points in the right direction would be appreciated. Cheers Dan
  14. nice one fellas- i have one on its way a few days after posting, so i'll try that first, if no joy i'll be in touch- many thanks
