Just been informed (day before selling car) that my headgasket has possibly gone on my MKIV N/A, obviously I wouldn't let it be sold like this so I'll be getting it done. My local generic garage are quoting me about £700 to do this job which I'm thinking is a little steep to be honest. Does this seem right to anyone, or failing that does anybody know of a decent garage in the Beds area that won't bum me daft on price?Thanks in advance!

Yeah the speedo, not sure about that really. First Supra I've ever had so didn't strike me as odd at the time, reads in MPH though. The mileage is 200k but is still counting up in km despite the speed reading so none of it is in miles. Probably not how I'd have converted it, but I'm no expert

I know I've not long bought it, but something else has caught my eye already. My MKIV Supra is up for grabs, completely boggo standard although I suspect it has aftermarket springs due to the ride height, haven't had chance to investigate though. Car is excellent to drive with easily one of the best auto boxes I've ever used. It's an unabused, unmolested honest car and a great project base Good bits Car in excellent condition for it's age 10 months MOT 4 Months Tax Proper sexy Boot blind present Bad bits Couple of little car park dinks Two very small patches of crust on rear at base of screen £2500 takes it away, I'm in no hurry so no silly offers please, it's nice and cheap as it is P/X? - Possibly, but nothing shit please.
