I`d never personally retrim my dash in leather - would carbon fibre it for £130 with the silver dials surrounds. Retrim for me would be seats and probably door cards.... Just my 2p.

Always works great for me when i first get a car, hit it with a bit of tcut, nothing major, just hand work and no pushing on too hard etc... Just takes it a bit back and then can work on polishing decent paint

Just a quick note on this thread, i`m still hoping to go but the chap doing my car says it may not be finished by then (as we are only working on it over weekends) I`ll confirm by next weekend.

My 2p is this was very lucky driving, 1 he was almost on full lock each section of the drift, tiny bit more and he would have been round in a circle and smashed into his mates cars... 2 the car moving out of the way, if it hadn't, bang...

Autogylm (spelling?) works great for me, the red polish. I always T Cut my car when i first get it, the polish, then finish with a spray on polish like turtlewax and buff. Always just used cloths not buffers and my cars have always come out really nice.

Thanks mate, but just if i didnt do this and left as it was then would it still work adequately as the third projector is the sidelight.... Am i being thick here???

Please forgive me if this is a stupid question... Leading on from my headlight de-lining thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?247610-De-linned-lights-first-attempt-) People said that because i`d painted the small lens then the sidelights wouldn't work... So i removed the lens and removed the paint... see pics. But, when trying the sidelights on my car today (as these are a spare set of lights im working on) the sidelights seem to be both the light on the right of the three and that little one as well.... so the question is - if i kept the little lens black (as i think it looks loads better) then wouldn't the sidelights still work from the outer one of the three projector lights and wouldn't this be adequate?
