    Plasma LCD TV

I actually WON this plasmascreen in a contest this January! http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/product_detail.jsp?product_id=8899&taxonomy_id=62-63 (to be precise i won the PDP435HDE) And as ive understood...this one, and the Panasonic that is equally priced....and to a certain extent Philips' plasma in this league is "the dogs bollocks"
  2. Hmm....i really couldnt comment...as i got my NÜR Spec without the baffle Im just hoping someone will se this "ad" and sell me theirs
  3. Voila http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/hatch_rattle/index.html @lpher
  4. ROTFLMAO Do any of you guys know who this mr. Bigear is? @lpher
  5. 31 The mkIV Supra's are a bit more expensive on this side of the pond you see...therefore the average age of an mkIV owner will naturally be slightly higher than it is where most of you guys live @lpher
  6. Summer-tires...isnt ment for winterweather Its as simple as that... Ive driven my mkIV year-around since i got it...(i live in Norway, a bit more north than most of you guys )...and with the right (studless) wintertires the mkIV is actually quite comfortable to drive in the snow Most of all because the car is so well balanced....for instance...the transition from full-grip..to no-grip...is dead easy to feel...the car just tells you BEFORE things start going bad... What i usually do is not use the TRAC under 60-70km/h...then switch it on...IF i a) feel insecure about the roadsurface...or b) im doing 'higher speeds' And youve got to respect the car itself...and offcourse the weather too Im certainly into a big rant here, aint i? Actually in the wintertime...is when you can actually feel that the 4-channel ABS with its G-sensor is working...aswell as the Torsen diff....man dont you just love the way this car is set up? As far as im concerned this is THE only sportscar that you can use as a year-round daily driver! And..i can PERSONALLY vouch for that! @lpher
  7. The danish Supra-guys have got quite a collection too http://www.sonid.dk/press_mk4.htm @lpher
  8. As far as i know...all Eurospecs have the Torsen LSD...and that would also include your UK-specs then i suppose @lpher
  9. 2 hours into ownership: a set of 235/40-17" wintertires (i got the car in the wintertime) Later that same day the car got an alarmsystem @lpher
  10. ROTFLMAO ...got a point there actually @lpher
  11. This Supra popped up on a Norwegian autotrader-thingy...so i just wondered if any one of you guys..on here...have seen it before? Sorry...only 2 pics available: http://www1.autodb.no/cgi-bin/car/picture.pl?nr=519389 Here's the ad with its specs (in norwegian) : http://www1.autodb.no/cgi-bin/car/detail.pl?nr=519389 @lpher
  12. Sounds a lot like the winter here in Norway Do you guys use 'winter tires' at all? @lpher

    Wanna-be !!!

Thats more likely to be an early Mitsu. Eclipse @lpher
  15. Swing by Norway..and i'll join up...in my bone-stock mkIV! Scooter: Interesting idea @lpher
  16. As Dave said...you will most likely not run into them...their really that few...always been this way in mainland europe As the mkIV's still are expensive here...you wont find them in the hands of 18-20 years olds...their just to expensive...to buy and to innsure...among other things. So most of the mkIV's in scandinavia are summer-driven only! And...with our climate and all...this means if youre going to go Supra mkIV-spotting...your best bet is to be here in may through to august This might sound funny to you...but ive only ever seen 3 different Supras in real life...thats including my own! ...and ive travelled a bit too @lpher
  17. Your onto something there Dave In Norway, where i live, there are about 25 mkIV Supras...and this is in a coubtry with roughly 4,5 mill people....and i had never seen an mkIV before when i bought mine...and it took me almost a year til i laid my eyes upon another mkIV..other than myown..that is The reason i brought up Spain as an alternative..is the fact that i see ads for spanish mkIVs from time to time on http://www.mobile.de But your best alternative would still be Germany i suspect. Simply because 'most' of the mkIVs sold in mainland europe where sold new there. @lpher
  18. None of the LHD-Supras use the RZ/GZ- and what nots! Only the JDMs have those names...as far as i know So..in reality theres no way to tell the equipment-level of them...other than to check out what exstras it has got But fear not, most of them are VERY similar equipped...i suspect that the Supra only came in one form..and that you had to special-order it to get anything else If you want an LHD Supra TT...your best bet would be to get it from Germay/schwitzerland (not shure of the spelling )/Belgium or even Spain...as there seem to be a few of them left there..still Most of the Euro LHD-Supras tend to pop up on this site: http://www.mobile.de (not just german ones...) ...or you could try importing from the US...where the Suply of Supras are MUCH better than in mainland europe. Only trouble is...theres a lot you have to do to a US-Supra for it to be registered with spanish number-plates...new headlights/rear lights/possibly seatbelts etc. + the fact that the american Supras lacks many crucial things....dont ask why @lpher
  19. I remember this topic about sticking the ACIS/TVIS-flap open was just about discussed to death on the ICOC-list (International Celica Owners Group) a few years ago ...and the conlusion was that it was basicly a pointless mod @lpher
  20. I know my last car....a Celica GTi (ST182) had ACIS...wich is..as i understand it basicly about the same as TVIS @lpher
  21. I wouldnt do that if i where you...its even illegal to do that where i live @lpher
  22. lpher
