  1. so i bought myself a set of Volk GT-N's last year. the rears look pretty good and i'm very happy with them........but the front look just awkward. they have the +35 offset on a 17x8 rim. what i don't like is that they have absolutly no lip and the spokes are sticking out of the rim (it's not that much but i don't like the look). if i knew this before i wouldn't have bought this set, but from what i was seeing on the pics on ebay it didn't looked that bad. now my idea was to get some 17x9 rim with a better offset! but since they are discontinued long time ago it's pretty hard to get just 2. so my idea was to buy aother set and just switch the center part from my GT-Ns. are they changeable at all?? i mean 2 different type of Volk rims??? or do you guys have any other options for me??? or even better a set of 17x9 +?? Volk GT-Ns for sale
  2. as the title states i'm looking for the size of the oem steering wheel. want to buy a new aftermarket one but i'm not sure which size to get (320 or 350). i've searched this forum and the US forum for the size but couldn't find anything usefull ........i once read that the oem is a 380mm wheel, but i'm not sure about that. maybe someone could help me out
  3. looks insane pretty good work i may do this to mine one day too....since it's pretty worn
  4. did it work well?? your did you also had some power lost? but that´s exactly what i had in mind
  5. that's true i already have some ideas how to build the intake but not sure yet if this can be done or if it would work so i might think about it a bit more and we'll see what happens next
  6. i have heard of many people which used a ffim on their NA-T without a turbo that they had a lose of torque and the car felt "slow"....so since i want to stay NA (much easier here in germany to get street legal) i wanted a different style of intake to use the TT valve covers and the fact to replace the spark plugs easier (please no flaming on this) and if there´s a better solution than the oem one why not give it a try????? and last but not least it looks way better and you have less heat soak. what effect does the size of the throttle body have??? cause everyone i know who "tried" the ffim on their NA-T supra had big throttle bodies on!!! i calculated with a programm which i found on the web that the ideal size for the NA engine is somewhere near 69mm !! all the guys used 80-100mm throttle bodies. could this be a problem?
  7. as the title states i'm looking for an alternative solution for the oem NA intake manifold. i already found out that a intake manifold such as on the TT would loose low end power and over the hole rpm band width. so is there a solution to get rid of the NA oem intake. played in my mind already with going ITB but i guess i won't pass emision tests (or is it possible). machining and costs should be "no problem" but what could really be done!?!?! any ideas ???
  8. @josh: already have a set of those laying around here in my room since it´s easier for me to get the oem discs street legal here in germany ( and i read so many good comments about those discs) i may stick with those for now! nic does these endless pads also work with oem discs? or let´s say it this way how good are they in this combination?
  9. i have a 93 jdm sup and want to upgrade to TT brakes.as for now i have already the calipers at home, the only thing that's missing are discs and pads! so here my question what discs should i get ? the oem should be fine for a street driven sup....but i'm more leaning towards slotted one like the ebc. so what do you guys think? are those good? btw i'm not really sure if these are slotted and drilled once????
  10. hi everybody my name is Jan i´m from germany and own a 93 NA jdm supra. as for the ride i want to restore it to old glory even if this is a though job from what i´ve seen so far.....rust all over the place, a audio system that has to be new wired, etc. still a lot for work to do and soooo many parts i need
