  1. Picked her up today Really nice drive home, it managed 80 miles with no problems at all. Other than needing a good service and a couple of suspension-ey clonks to have a look at (nothing serious-sounding though) it's pretty immaculate It'll be getting a full service in a couple of weeks, along with the cam-cover gaskets being replaced. Otherwise I'll probably leave it as is - well, apart from ripping out the knackered old speakers and putting some new ones in Couple of quick eyephone pics:
  2. Yep, it's a brilliant little car and surprisingly capable. Had a few enquiries already, but no-one's been to see it yet...
  3. Hi all, I've found myself a Supra, so my Trueno is up for sale. Please see Pistonheads ad here: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2893109.htm And extra photos here following an email request - sorry, I drove her 100 miles along wet motorways yesterday so she needs a bit of a clean, but these may be useful anyway Roof lacquer damage: Throttle bodies Look no gunk
  4. Don't worry mate, I'll look after it I'll be taking an afternoon off work this week to come and collect it - hopefully Tuesday, but I'll let you know tomorrow. Can't wait to come and pick it up! Also - I'll be at JAE this year, so wander over and say hi if you're around
  5. Bought me a Supra Will be picking it up next week. Watch this space...
  6. Neither was I after it blew its headgasket and pissed coolant all over my friend's drive! Lovely engine when it was working though, and sounded amazing with 2 de-cats and a full stainless system
  7. Err... honestly? I can't remember the code (car-geek fail, I know!). It was a UK-spec 7M-GTE 3.0 single turbo
  8. I will do. There's a possibility that I might have a part-ex brewing, but if this falls through I'll give you a shout
  9. Wondered how long it would take you to find this
  10. Yeah, that was a lovely car. I'd still have it if it was more reliable, but after paying out for the inevitable blown head-gasket I got rid. After having a drive in pete's mk4 I was sold, which is why I'm now on the lookout
  11. Cheers for the welcome though everyone. I've already spotted the NA in the classifieds, certainly looks good
  12. Well if it'll be up for sale as soon as I buy a Supra!!
  13. Ha - yep, that's me. Can't keep off the Toyota forums, it seems!
  14. Hi all, Just thought I'd drop in and say hi I'm a big fan of Toyota, ahving had various models in the past. Having had a Mk3 Supra and being a good friend of pistol pete (member on here) I've decided that I'm now after a Mk4. While I'd love a TT, there's no way I can afford one with a Manual gearbox, so I'm looking around for a 5-speed N/A. Anyway, a little car history for those who are interested. I'll skip the usual cheapy hatchbacks and start with the interesting stuff: MR2 Mk1 (pic taken at JAE 2009): Mk3 Supra tubby: MG ZS180: The current - a 1996 JDM Toyota Sprinter Trueno BZG This has already proven to be a very useful site, so thanks for that! Hopefully I'll have a Supra of my own pretty soon
