  1. when i was on the phone to toyota i asked them about a new banjo bolt and the 2 washer and they cannot be got either. the banjo bolt threads look 100% and the thread inside the housing are not too bad a man i had it with said a run through with a tap should be okay. thanks for your help.
  2. sorry im not at my house at the min and wont be able to put up a better one. In the picture i took from the start were the bolt goes in the crack is about 11mm in length the crack is only visable when you screw the bolt in and it opens just a tiny bit enough to see. When i was taking it off the bolt was tight to take off all the way to the last thread so i thought that was normal enough because maybe it was never off but i dont know, so when i was putting it back in it was the same tightness half way in i heard the crack and when i checked it when i took it off the threads were crossed. I have it with an engineering company they said they should be able to fix it by cutting a V in the crack and filling it back up so i hope this works. Got a price from toyota for a new head today and they priced me £1600 no vat so im willing to try anything else first.

  8. Yes that is the part, so what your saying is that i can't go into toyota and order this part?
  9. I had the banjo bolt off thats located under the vvti syonild cleaning the small filter and i went to put the banjo bolt back in and the housing cracked. Does anyone know how much these housings will be and is it a big job taking the housing off do you have to interfer with timing?? Housing that the vvti syonild goes into.
  10. Hi all, Having more problems this time emissions!! [ANGRY][/ANGRY] Have had 3 NCTs and failed everytime on emissions, I thought it was a boost leak so i changed all the vacuum pipes and put i also put in new exhaust gaskets, so i def have no leaks anywhere and it's still no good. So today i went and got an emissions test done and it's very high on low idle and high rev so i unplugged the lambda sensor and my emissions comes down alot but still not enough so tested the signal on the wires going to the lambda and 2 wires read 0.0v (volts) and 1 reads 14.2v and the other is 0.1v so am i right the signal wire from lambda to ecu should be between 0.5 and 0.7?? but im not getting this!! What could be wrong?? Thanks.

  12. Hi all, Was out for a drive in my car today and was driving it for about 15-20 mins, and it started to miss a bit. I pulled in and when i gave it a rev and the hand went to settle like it normally does it started to bounce instead between 500 and 1000 rpm so i turned it off and back on again and everything seemed okay. So there later on tonight i was driving for about 30 mins and it started to do the same thing again, it's like it's going off a plug or something. I have new plugs in it, so does anyone have any idea whats going on?? And i checked for boost leaks and everythings fine that end!! Thanks

  17. Ok sorry every one i should have said what i have. {98 vvti tt6} Blitz Nurspec catback with 1st and 2nd De-cats. Greddy front mount inter cooler. Trust oil cooler. Fidanza lightened flywheel. Whifbitz braided fuel hose to remove pulsation damper. Blitz oil pressure gauge. HKS dump valve. Blitz SBC (Sequential boost controller). Apexi pillar mounted gauges (boost and temp Apexi turbo timer. Spec clutch kit. HKS twin power High performance ingintion system Type DLI.
  18. Hi everyone, I'm thing of going single turbo! Going for about 600bhp so the engine remains safe!! Here's a list of things i'm going to buy for the car, so if anyone can advise or add to the set up please let me know!![GRIN][/GRIN] Garage Whifbitz S366 66mm twin wastegate twin scroll single turbo kit Fuel rail kit with 1000cc injectors Fuel pressure regulator Bosch 044 pump BC cams 264 and Valve Spring & Retainer (these are the 2jz-ge cams from a is300 so i can have the VVTI) Adjustable Cam pullys Syvecs S6GP Some of these things are kinda over and above what i need but i dont want to be running things on it's max i want to keep her safe!! As i said before too if any of you guys have any advice or info on this i would be greatful Cheers. Things i have FMIC Oil cooler Exhaust Clutch Gauges boost water temp and oil pressure Dump valve

  22. I emailed BC about cams and this was the reply i got [unfortunately we do not have the VVTI cams available for the 98 as our fit the IS300 which is the later model.]
