What should the gap be on a N/A. Ta David

Dash lights (Rev counter, speedo, petrol gauge) do not work, dimmer switch does'nt work (Obviously) and the buzzer noise that tells me the lights are on does'nt work. Any ideas? All the fuses are fine btw. David

Cheers Guys. Yes the light does go out when I start the car in normal mode not diagnostic mode. The reason why I wanted to get this working was I managed to pop in and see Leon to say hello and just to explain to him about my idleing problem. He was the one that noticed my engine management light wasn't working so I told him I would fix that then check the codes. I told him I thought it may be the Idle speed control but he said it could be a couple of things but not the Idle speed control cos they don't really go wrong. I am praying that it is something simpler because the Idle speed control is £440+VAT from Mr Toyota. Even TCB in conwall want £150 for a second hand one.

Anyone know?

Ok after a bit of jiggery and pokery managed to get the lights working but when I do the diagnostic test E1 and TE1 the light just flashes continuously and I got bored counting at 120 flashes!!!! Please help David

I've had mine apart and can't see any probs with it!!! Unfortunatley the smacking option does'nt work either (If in doubt give it a clout)

Only just realised that my engine management light does not work neither do any of the light in this area (i.e ABS and two oil cans) I have checked the connection on the back and it is fitted ok and none of the fuses have blown. Any ideas on what it could be as I would like to run diagnostics but can't without this light working

Yeah I think I mean the Idle speed control valve. Is that the thingy that is bolted onto the throttle body? BTW Its a 94 N/A Supe Cheers David

Is this a cleanable part? I think this is why the car won't tick over from cold. David

My passenger side window goes about 2-3mm higher than it should causing the passenger door not to close properly. Is there any easy way just to tweek the window down a bit. Thanks David

Are the UK TT Oil filters the same for the J Spec N/A? Also what oil do you recommend semi or fully synthetic. Ta so much David

Does anyone know the fundemental differences between the US and J Spec Supra's apart from the steering wheel being on the wrong side. The reason I ask is that I have got the Microfiche for the US spec Supra and put it into PDF format (531 pages and 101Mb) Cheers David

So will 17" wheels off a late MR2 fit on the Supe? I believe they are set up 114.3 PCD, 60 C/Bore, 45mm Offset. Would 5mm offset make a lot of difference if the rims where only 7 or 7.5" wide? Cheers David

What problems would a 71.5 centre cause?

Does anyone know if the Chrysler Voyager wheels will fit on the Supe. The spec on the wheel sizes are Stud 5 PCD 114.3 Offset 35 C/Bore 71.5 16 Inch
