  1. Yes mate from Goodridge, see email below... not sure if the code is a generic one or if its specific to each customer, I just emailed and asked what the best price they could do would be. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=216816&stc=1&d=1486029940 Perfect, cheers Shawn
  2. Who sent you a discount code? Goodridge direct?
  3. Good to see you getting stuck in Greg Nice to do a few of these jobs and tidy bits up!
  4. I need to do a serious prune of this list as I know a few guys have left ownership. I will also update with those of you who are yet to be added
  5. Hi, 1. You can't delete a post, you should PM a mod (any of us guys in orange) and we can do it for you. 2. If you edit the first post of the thread, providing you are the OP, you should have the option of editing the title.
  6. Hi dude, A multitude of reasons really: I was able to collect parts as and when I could afford them rather than a bulk outlay on an engine conversion. Rather than spending £3k+ on a used GTE engine, I rather spend a percentage of that on refreshing an engine so that i knew that I was as healthy as could be. Having been out in both a TT BPU and a NA-T (within 20mins of each other), I much preferred the drama and experience of the NA-T. I wanted a challenge and wanted to learn along the way while be able to have a handle on the conversion myself. I could personalise the drive of the car to suit me, the power delivery, output, etc. Among many other reasons. Cost was not one of them.
  7. A quick video of mine and Rob_SRi's car's having a play on the Autobahn. I was running low boost (450hp,430lbft @1.1bar) for all runs. Rob's is the camera car, but mine is the deep scream you hear on the last side by side. https://vimeo.com/201560825
  8. I didn't agree to post it back up, I agreed to review it in my spare time. I would suggest you reread my last response to your PM. It also would need a red to repost the thread as I do not have the correct permissions. I would also appreciate you not ushering this thread to descend to pandemonium, as with others. If you have an issue you can PM me or favourably, a red.
  9. Fair enough, I too am also giving sound advice - but based on personal experience, not what the internet says so.
  10. I've never seen any proof of this. Can you link any? Please see my graph below: Car has now covered near on 10k miles converted, is used in all weathers and conditions. Has seen track use, driven around Europe and I've never had an issue.
  11. Depends if he ACTUALLY NEEDS to upgrade the ignition timing and spark. Mines running more than adequately on the stock dizzy.
  12. This. Jamie has hit the nail on the head here.
  13. I'm pretty sure I've read that they don't fit, but interestingly, I did see someone fit a set of Impreza rear brembos in replacement for JSpec rears!
  14. I had heard that previously, but then I spoke to a couple of members who had them fitted - Rob_SRi, BigNum - And they were very happy with them. Both of these guys have had them a while now with no issues AFAIK. I'm sure Si will confirm shortly
  15. Have a look at the white line bars. Partbox offer them at a very good price (around 2/3 the cost of the next best priced) and my initial feedback is that they're excellent!
  16. Hi Jack, welcome to the forum! Please post some pictures up, would be great to see your Supe!
  17. I can fully recommend the AEM. No issues here after 2 years of daily use
  18. Just so you don't spend money unnecessarily mate, I'm running 570hp, 533lbft and I have no issues with the distributor mate. I'm sure the dizzy is good for quite some power.
  19. A friend of mine used Greg and his car drives beautifully, definitely worth a shout - although last I heard was that he wouldn't map emanage anymore, so worth checking mate.

    SRD Single Turbo Kit

Ahh, I have an AEM V2 ECU, will this support COP Lee? I do have the GTE oil pump, therefore should have the trigger wheel for the CPS.
