  4. I take it that is a three prong switch....so power earth and switched power check your getting 12v on the switched pin
  5. Maybe a relay or the fuse on the relay if its fused.
  6. hi guys, i have already replaced the timing belt when i bought my car just to be sure, recently i have noticed a lil puff of smoke on cold start so i'm thinking that my vs oil seals are shot. so looking to get tools in to make the job run smoother. when i replaced the timing belt the last time i had savage issues with the pulling the bottom pully of the crank. i have asked my local snap-on dealer for tools to do the job but he has returned saying there is nothing available for the supra, which sounds wrong to me. i have already bought a tool to remove and replace the colets on the valve springs so just wondering of there is anyone on here that has bought tools somewhere to both *Lock the bottom pully to crack the nut & *To pull the crank pully off the crank. part numbers for the tool would be great or even a link to buy them even better. thanks Chris.
  7. glad you found one mate, she's a very nice car, the colour only grows and grows on you with time...no doubt you will do the few 1A1 owners proud with her.
  8. that single is a beauty mate, is that an apr rear wing?, was it standard or had the legs been shortened?, it suited the car perfect, a credit to you both cars are.
  9. like the look of these, as say before if there going to go on sale i'd have some

  12. very very nice mate, a credit to all involved in the build.
  13. havn't got them mounted as of yet mate but on trial fitting them on the car everything look hunky dory, there's no offset stamped on the wheels, well i havn't looked to much in honestly 49 rings a bell for the rears though. for the front i'd need to check, and at work at the min
  14. they are indeed but at the end of the day you get what you pay for imo, and there pretty rare this side of the Atlantic so should be one of the more exclusive wheels on a supra
  15. there from an american company called Forgeline
  16. 18's mate 18 x 9 and 18 x 11 - - - Updated - - - lol she's one of our smaller spanners...she's only a 70mm
  17. hi guys my wheels finally arrived on wed past, have not got my tyres yet so can mount them on the car. just thought i'd put up a few pics to see what you lads think.
  18. thats what i was trying to say in my post above..can't see why that won't work
  19. could you not disconnect the battery and hook the golf up to the terminals and just check if the dash lights come on to prove the point, but at that stage it could be easier just changing the battery.
  20. I'm right on the border an its just not that simple...irish customs are cruel on ni reg cars in the republic...there have been cases of them putting women an young children out of thier cars to sieze the car and leaving them stranded..there a law on there own an abuse it every chance they get...still i wont be payin vrt on my supra...i'll move to northern ireland or rent a shed in the north before i pay there vrt
  21. thats the idea, don't think i have the candy to splash thats been spent on that supra, but i'll have a try.....have my wheels arriving from the states soon...not sp1's but hoping they will be as nice i hope as there just as expensive, as far as i know that car in the 'supra dreams ' video is an NA but i may be wrong
  22. there you go mate http://www.nengun.com/trust-greddy/toyota-supra-jza80-rear-spolier
  23. for the price of them new mate i think i'd keep this as it already painted an in pretty much perfect condition an if i wanted a change its only 4 bolts so i think i will keep it mate.
