How Loud are we talking???? Also I notice that she makes a bit of a whuushh when backing off after a heavy dose of the old right foot....

Thinking of getting a BOV, please can someone advise, IE: Cost, but most importantly, the loudness - grin factor!!! Also I dunno if im getting used to the Supes but Im sure its got slower!!!! Anyone else found this after owning it for 1 week?? Cheers, Jast

My supes got a straight through pipe all the way, No CATS, the first ones defo not there, there is however a box in the middle just before the rear muffler, dunno if this is a cat though???? Just bin out init, Strangly Im sure the Turbo whines got louder, then whilst giving it a bit of a blow out down the bypass, its was hitting 1.1 bar. Seems OK. Anyone explain this fuel cut to me and also, is it normal for the gauge to shake between ranges say 1.0 & 0.8 when holding the throttle at a certain point when the turbs kicking in??? Sorry for being a thicko but this is all new territory to me. Cheers Guys:stupid:

Well, Day 2 seems to have been a bit of an education. Good News is the MOT will be passed very soon, and after having the boost gauge fitted last night by Chris (cheers mate) I can see shes only hitting just over 1 bar @ 5000 ish. So no Boost Creep, I think. I say I think because driving aroung on icy roads in the dark, one hand on the wheel, boost gauge in the other attempting to get a reading, while kaining the supra up the road sideways is a bit of a handfull. Should be OK though coz I did a couple of standing starts, hoofing the throttle and again only just over 1 bar. The other good news is that while testing the supra from standing starts in icey conditions Ive found its not really that bad traction wise. Even with wheel spin it sticks in more or less a straight line, Quite Impressed! This mornings a differant story though, very very icey, came into the car park stopped, put her on full lock, just slowly give her some throttle and we went round 3 times in a perfect motion, very slow as well, it was like a ice dance I tell ya !!! :D

Good News, Ive spoken about the Chart, and yes its not valid, however I have managed to come to an agreement. ;-) Thanks for all the good advise anyway. Anyway the exhaust, its not a Blitz, HKS etc coz theres no marking on it, the pipe is running straight through from the front, no bolt on CAT just on single large bore pipe. then instead of splitting into 2 then back into 1 its just goes straight into a box and back out into the back-box/tail pipe. Cr*p Explanation I know. Anyhow what about this boost problem, could it be running at a dangerous level? As for the wheels, that could be the Issue with the traction, looks like this car has just been for "posing" not "PLAYING" Anything else u lot can advise me on???

Nice One James & Chris too, Listen I ve looked at that chart, whats the end crack then, on the MOT i had it needed to be 0.3, but it hit 0.7. So with following the chart will 0.7 pass, how do they figure this out, and will it defo not be on the database? Cheers Guys

Hello, I have just purchased a MK4 Supra TT (auto), 1994 and I have a few querys . . . 1. Its failed the MOT due to the cat being removed. Looks like a Full SS System has been put on, CAT Removed. Also Theres only 1 pipe now not 2 running from the front??? What do I do, if failed the test, 0.7, should have been 0.3 so it wasnt far out. Where can I get a Cat from to fit it cheap. Also with out the CAT ive heard this could be running above 1.2 bar poss even up to 1.5bar, Its got not boost control or fuel control, is this true etc??? 2. In the Current Weather the car seems to be VERY VERY VERY Tail Crazy, TRC Seems Cr*p, any tips for driving etc, Car seems to spin all the time, 3. Anything else i needs to know?
