  1. FYI anyone wanting a full set of OEM panels, spotted on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Supra-oem-Front-Bumper-side-skirts-side-spats-PLASTIC-/272707943638?hash=item3f7ea8fcd6:g:feMAAOSw~e5ZREvv
  2. Looking good dude! Keeping an eye on this one.
  3. So the local dealer quoted me £420.60 so not far off. Assume mine would be pre-facelift as they went off VIN, part number for reference is T52119-14916. Do you know the part number for yours Rob? Thanks,
  4. In that case I would be more tempted, always good to hear feedback. Will update this thread if they can even source one.
  5. Yeah I have seen that, not convinced about getting one from the UAE just in case anything went wrong. Good fall back option though! Will go speak to my contact at Mr T later today and see what they say. Rob
  6. Give Admiral a try, I expected to pay that much when I insured my first Supra and was pleasantly surprised to get a quote of just over £300 from Admiral classic. All mods declared, agreed value of 18.5k and you can still use your ncb. I have never had to claim so can't feedback from that point of view but happy with the experience so far. To be fair I didn't try Footman James but Sky couldn't even quote due to my postcode which is crazy! Rob
  7. I didn't even know you could still get them new, anyone got a part number and rough price? Thanks, Rob
  8. Bump Happy to work out a deal if someone wants my Bomex
  9. If anyone has one let me know, cash waiting. Preferably black but will take any colour. Ta, Rob
  10. Stunning! Love the colour! Which front bumper is that?
  11. Hi Guys, Thanks for the feedback! Haha, yes it does. I am a fan of a chap on YouTube called Baron Von Grumble, it is one of his stickers. It is actaully a film, the previous owner attempted a fibreglass repair and then used a film to try and protect it further. Sorry to say it didn't work. The pictures hide some of the marks, to be honest it probably doesn't but I find it hard to look past rough paint. There are a couple of runs where it looks like previous touch ups have been attempted They look and feel like plastic to me, good news if I decide to sell then. I find myself leaning towards the TRD wing, will start the hunt for one or maybe just buy a replica one from Whifbitz. At least the previous owner kept the original mounting holes so I just need to repair the ones from this one. RE an OEM front bumper, would it clear the FMIC? I do also like the look of the Ridox, decisions, decisions! Thanks again guys! Rob
  12. Hi Guys! Excited to be here (finally!) I have wanted to own a Supra since I passed my test a good 10 years ago and a few weeks ago my dream finally came true. I have seen a couple of threads on here about people not wanting to travel for cars, well it didnt bother me as I live in West Yorkshire and the car was within spitting distance of Brighton so that was a fair trek! Thanks to the wife for driving us down. What a car! At this point I should probably say it is the tried and tested J spec TT6 up to BPU spec. I love how you really feel the kick when the second turbo kicks in, you really need to be awake when driving one of these fast - although my 400bhp built MR2 was a bit lively too. Anyway, enough rambling! Phase one of this project is to sort out the exterior, the previous owner really looked after it but you can tell the paint is original. I have machine polished it but either a wrap or respray may be on the cards. Here are some pics of how it looks today Right, it wouldn't be a true forum post if I didn't end on a couple of questions; 1) The front bumper is a bit tired, my local bodyshop didn't seem willing to remove the matt film the previous owner had put on, repair the cracks and repaint it. I think they were worried it would fall apart. Thoughts about what I should do? Find another Bomex or something else? Not sure what would go with the skirts. 2) Does anyone elses exhaust scrape? From what the previous owner tells me it seems to be a custom one from Japan, there are no obvious markings. Not sure whether it hangs lower than others but it does tend to scrape on bumps and I wouldn't say the car is that low. 3) Thoughts on the wing? Some days I love it, some I think it is OTT. Debating whether to go TRD style. Thanks for looking! Rob
  13. Hi Guys, My car is missing the plastic panels from the boot lid, anyone have them kicking around in need of a new home? Must have the relevant clips. Ta, Rob
  14. Hi Guys, Does anyone know the part numbers for the multitude of clips that hold the boot plastics near the rear shock towers in place? Guess nobody will have any for sale and Toyota might still sell them Can take some pictures if you need to know specifically which I mean but all are missing. Ta, Rob
  15. Haha! Lets just say I have wanted one for a long time and stuff always got in the way. Got to admit, I didn't think it had been that long. If it helps I have just paid to become a full member
  16. Hi Guys, Just a quick hello from someone who has been a silent member for too long! Just in the process of selling my M135i and then will be on the hunt for a car. I used to be a member of MR2OC before moving to an RX8 and then becoming overly sensible and going German time to get a proper car again! There are lots of amazing cars here, Rob
