  1. I've been looking for something like this for a long time!
  2. The land cruiser I have out in Dubai right now does it to. Think it's to stop you getting hot in the face with hot air on start up, handy in these hot parts
  3. It's a long story which I won't bore anyone with, just a break down in a long relationship really. I have a bumper now thanks to Westy, still need the crash bar and a bonnet. Benjy how much for the crash bar?
  4. Well where to begin, Friday the 13th was an eventful one for me! My ex trashed my supra jumping on the bonnet, ripping the folding mirrors about and ultimately I crashed the car trying to avoid her polo which she tried to crash into the supra. Needless to say the police were involved and it was all caught on CCTV. I want to repair this without involving insurance as I won't be able to afford it after losing my no claims! So there's a few parts I'm going to need 1 stock front bumper any colour 2 stock bonnet if cheap enough 3 front panel? Pics enclosed http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/06/15/te6ebapy.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/06/15/ju7agy4u.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/06/15/eryqa2ar.jpg Also if anyone has an alloy crash bar for the front I'll take one of those to
  5. Cheers Paul, I have an N/A and the plan is to overhaul/ fit one of your N/A-T kits at the same time
  6. With the exception of going to Toyota is there anywhere reliable to buy some or all items required for a full overhaul?
  7. I'm up in Peterhead this week doing stuff for Apache so sure I'll be around your neck of the woods at some point, always getting posted up to Aberdeenshire. Your always welcome at one of our meets would defo be the quickest there!
  8. Couple of photos from Friday And even one of my trusty golf tdi lol
  9. I use it in mine, great oil that seems to clean slightly to
  10. Thought it was about time I started a build thread having had the car 4 months now! Plans for the supra are to use it this year (2014) as much as possible and it will be going on a 700 mile round trip through the Scottish Highlands where im hoping to learn the car properly before the NA-T conversion. When the time comes towards the end of this year I asm hoping to have found a suitable double garage or similar to carry out the restoration work which 90% of will be done by myself and a few friends. Once the engine and gearbox are out the shell will be completely stripped bare and rolled onto its side to give easy access to the underside, at which point the subframes will have been removed. Any parts in good condition eg rear subframe will be blasted and powder coated in yellow along with little things like the various brace bars and anything else I can get my hands on. Engine wise I am looking at the Whifbits NA-T kit, Before doing this I will be overhauling the 18 year old GE lump and sending the head away to Browns engineering to have it acid bathed and valves re-ground etc etc. New bearings and seals all round for the bottom end to! As for the gearbox (auto) I may well swap for a w58 Manual or stick with the auto. Dont know much if anything about automatic transmission if im honest so would probably just renew the torque convertor. DAY 1 The cat approves Headlight Restoration Big difference Rough Diamond!
