We run some fairly high oil pressure builds and don’t have any issue with oil burning. It’s more likely a ring sealing issue or damage to cylinder bore surface

You can still buy new manual surrounds that have new gear gaitors on them. That will be the easiest way to replace it. Otherwise you will need to get creative with to change your current gear gaitor.

You need to travel unfortunately, most garages have no idea what to do on a Supra these days.

Welcome, car looks lovely. We've had a few come through from HJA and they are always super clean nice examples so you can sleep easy knowing it will be a good one. The only specialists worth taking car to is SRD Tuning, Whifbitz or Magnum Performance.

The only JZ motor that is interference from factory is 2JZ GE VVTi. Everything else, 1JZ 2JZ, GE GTE, Non & VVTi are non interference so cambelt can come off and no damage to engine.

You should probably check what error codes you are getting before replacing TPS. It's usually ECU related rather than TPS, but you never know I guess. TPS has 4 wires. 5v, Signal Ground, TPS Signal & Idle Switch. Idle switch is active when throttle is closed. To avoid stripping the bolts holding TPS in place, use an impact screwdriver or just hammer a normal screwdriver onto the bolt first to shock the bolt and it will come loose easy.

Make sure you use OEM valve cover gaskets, I only see issues with non oem ones leaking. Never had rockers leak on my NA or others I've done at the rear

They only need to be handtight anyway, most make the mistake of overtightening and snapping the bolt or breaking the valve cover.

Prices seemed to have stalled this year, maybe even slight decline, possibly due to world circumstances. Last year I knew quite a few Supra’s selling for fairly crazy money but haven’t really heard of anything this year so far. A lot of JDM cars values seem to be following this trend currently. I’m sure it will pick up again soon but maybe not this year. Personally I would put your car in the 25-30k region. TT Auto with veilside body kit is always gonna be harder to sell, even though it does look clean. If it were me selling I’d put up detailed pictures of engine bay, interior, underside. Cars getting the most money are clean everywhere not just the outside. So dealer isn’t miles off if they expect to make 10-20% on selling the car. For some people taking slightly less but not having to deal with the aggro of selling to every asshole out there is worth it.

I can get a photo of the lights but wont be till next weekend or so. Yes its a straight fit into a TT or NA, same plugs so long as its a pre-facelift car.

Still in my car as I'm lazy and havent removed yet, but dials are in good working order. All OEM bulbs functional. Some paint fade on dial needles on tacho/coolant. Speedo is from a UK Spec. Tacho & Fuel Level/Coolant are from NA Manual. Ideally would like to sell altogether. £350 for the set collected at SRD £365 posted/insured/tracked.

Ive never tried to be honest so couldnt say. I can't imagine it will make much difference if I were to take a guess though. Most of the flow restriction is from the exhaust wheel size and A/R turbine limitations rather than an issue with gates regulating boost. If the gate welded to housing did increase the A/R or something along those lines then you will probably sacrifice response on the low end so kind of pointless, might as well run a larger turbo.
