  1. The only online photo I can find of the vaccum on a GE is this: Problem with that photo is that a lot of JSpec N/A's do not have an EGR Valve, so some of the diagram is not entirely accurate. The above diagram is apparently included under the bonnet of each Supra, so it's a bit of a mystery as to why no one has posted up a Jspec NA vaccum diagram to this date. Another diagram for vaccum's that I used can be found here and is accurate for Jspec NA's: LINK
  2. Depending on the N/A that he has, it is more than likely that it has a MAP sensor, so he only has to worry about putting in the temperature sensor in on the intake pipe. That said, if you have a MAF sensor then I'd agree with Ian if it has been removed. If you are getting the main engine warning light appearing, then it should save the error code to the ECU. Read this guide here about how to check the diagnostic codes that your ecu might be showing. I'd get your mechanic to check the distributor timing as well, if it's been moved slightly then it could lead to the symptomes you have described

    Hi all

Or just upload it straight to the forum, that way the photo's don't get deleted
  4. Your list looks fine to me. I recently did a full service to mine and had a similar looking list, the only thing that was different with mine was the use of ATF II powersteering fluid rather than ATF III, just because the stock power steering cap says to use ATF II on the inside. However I'm pretty sure there isn't much difference betweeen the two types.
  5. I second that, if anything the bloody things are fixed in place
  6. Welcome to the club. That's a really nice supra you have there, whats your plans for it?

    Lag

I doubt that rebuilding the twins is gonna improve spool to be competitive with a modern single, seems like a waste of time and money.
  8. Hiya, Need to look up something that would be listed in the Mechanical/SFI System & Emissions system sections of the repair manual. The repair manuals on this site as well as anything I can find on google seem to be written for the American/Euro market, so whilst a lot of the information is the same. Topics regarding vaccums, vsv's, egr's, MAP vs MAF sensors are all different and not getting me anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find repair manuals for jspec cars, even if it's in Japanese! Thanks
  9. Xzibit please pimp my ride

    Go pro

Sometimes it just comes down to user error :X GoPro's don't just turn off for the sake of it

Reliability has never been an issue with any of mine that I've used over the years. That said, you can find cheaper brands out there that do more or less the same thing. I really want to get a drift camera in the future. They are more aerodynamically shaped and as a result have less wind noise which ruins every single gopro vid out there unless an external mic is used.
  12. Seems like a lot of wheel hop off the line
  13. As it's already on youtube, why don't you use a site or 3rd party software to download the video straight off youtube, plenty of choice out there on what you can use
  14. The autobox in the na and tt are different, not sure what sort of power each can hold
  15. Swapped over to W10 recently, got to say I quite like it so far. The new spartan browser, is miles better than IE

    Skype

Since upgrading Skype, have you updated the firewall permissions? If your firewall permissions are still pointing to the older version skype path then it could be a contribution factor to the issue.

    Skype

If AVG has it's own firewall, then make sure to grant permission to Skype to allow it access to work. Edit: Also make sure skype is allowed on your windows firewall as well to be sure
  18. Congrats what spec did you get in the end, looks tidy!
  19. A while back I picked up a set of n/a chris wilson front springs from broomie, thanks again dude! It seems the rear matching set no longer are part of this world so had to make do with just the front set, which are meant to be stiffer and ~15mm lower than stock springs. Finally got the courage to get them installed today to see what they what they would be like. I was following a guide on the forum about how to remove the strut and spring, and honestly thought the whole process would take about 1 hour each side but ended up spending far longer on it than I imagined. Not sure why I did this job on the floor when I had a ramp right in front of me to use, will definitely use it next time I do suspension work back is killing me now :X Quick comparison of the old springs vs new ones going in And the finished result So far turning feels a bit sharper/responsive, as well as the ride being a bit bumpier but as it was raining today I haven't really pushed the car properly to see how it responds. Now the question is, should I leave the rears higher or find some rear springs to drop it slightly to balance it out?
  20. First post updated with photos now
  21. Pm'd & Sold Hi Max, that's fine, I'll pm you my payment details and we can sort out the best way to get it to you, I don't mind dropping it off with another member if it's not to far. Hi Edward, I'll upload some pictures of the cover later tonight when I get home, but there is no damage, the rear of the cover has just had a few mm shaved off in order for the cover to fit around the N/A engine loom that sits near the cams, but you can't see this when it is fitted.
