    Please help

If you have some way of bridging the E1 & TE1 on diagnostic ports, see what error codes it is giving you, as this may give you a better indication of whats going on. edit: just realized this is on a GT4, no idea if their diagnostic system works the same as the supra
  4. Some blocks have the drain pipe, others don't. If you dont have the drain pipe, then coolant will come out of the drain hole where the plug goes into.
  5. In addition to the radiator drain, you will need to remove the coolant drain plug on the block. It's on the driverside, and is a 14mm bolt, sitting near cylinder 5 & 6. Probably worth flushing out your heater system as well, as old coolant will be there too.
  6. 1) Jack car up or stick it on a ramp 2) Place something under the lsd to drain fluid into 3) Undo drain plug and go make a cup of tea 4) Once everything is drained out, put plug back in and undo the fill port plug. 5) Some oils comes with a long hose or funnel that you will need in order to pour oil into the LSD (Stock LSD's take about 1.5/2l of oil) 6) Pour the oil in, put fill port plug back in and job done. Seems a little strange that you need to change oil every 2000 miles.
  7. To remove the headlight from the car, there is 2* 10mm nuts and 1 10mm bolt that holds the headlight in.
  8. Wow nice, who's is that I've never seen it before
  9. Hiya, I'm currently running the following: Falken 452's 235/40/18 on the front Federal RSR's 265/35/18 on the front My front tyres are in need of a change, and I'd rather not be using the RSR's in the upcoming winter weather, as they are lively enough in the wet, let alone the cold as well. So time for a new set of tyres all the way round. English winters aren't that harsh by any means, so I don't think investing in full on winter tyres is the way forward, but I'm looking for some tyres that aren't going to react too negatively to a bit of wet + cold. Has anyone got any recommendations, given that this is a daily driven car. Thanks!
  10. If the rad cap isn't secure then the system won't pressurize properly leading to problems. Sounds like you need a different rad cap
  11. I believe I still have it, I will next be in the workshop on Monday morning so will take a look and get back to you.
  12. Oh forgot to mention that as well, with the 530d 5speed box and a 4:1 S14 diff, we were topping out at 130mph in 5th gear. Get's there bloody quick though
  13. I guess you have been speaking with Frazer? I've been helping/working on his drift car the last 9 months and have some advise regarding the clutch kit/gearbox. The short answer is, don't bother with this conversion if you are planning for this to be a daily drive or a comfortable cruiser. The clutch kit and BMW box feels very racecar like, in the sense that the clutch is hard to use, the clutch is very noisy etc. It's saving grace is that it's relatively cheap in comparison to the 6 speed, and it can take a lot of abuse for what it is, and worse comes to worse a new gearbox will set you back a few hundred at maximum. Installation of the kit is incredibly straight forward and the quality of the components used on the clutch kit are high. In my opinion, if I had a drag/drift car that I wanted to build but couldn't fork out for a 6 speed getrag, then this would be the next best thing. Using this kit on a daily/road basis is interesting at first, but quickly becomes tiresome.
  14. Indeed, I much prefer the look of prefacelift lights on a white car so perhaps this owner had a similar idea
  15. Who cares, it's a steal at that price. Must be an error or a scam
  16. Looks good man cant wait to see it
  17. Im down in canter and know some friendly mot guys, pm me if you want details
  18. I wouldnt sell it, i would focus on sorting a proper gearbox before worrying about a turbo kit
