  1. Been a while since last update and a lot has been going on. So after receiving all the bits for my ridox rear end, it was time to get it installed. Started by stripping off the old veilside arches and cleaning up the old sealer and surface rust where the old arches had rubbed through the paint. Then applied some new sealant to protect the welds and seal up old rivet holes. Followed by some primer And finished off with a coat of Super white II 040, but forgot to grab some pics. Wasn't the best paint job in the world, but it's hidden by the new arches. At least the arches are rust free and re-sealed, so shouldn't have to worry about that for another few years. Next was to strip off the rear end, so a stock bumper could be fitted. Kinda wish I had spent some time to paint the bumper looking back on it now, but I was impatient and didn't have enough paint, so I'll have to return to painting it another time. I then rivnutted the rear arch kit on, held in with small countersunk bolts. Really need to grab some better photos, but the finished product with the new skirts and rear end looked like: With all that done, it was time for an MOT. Took it to a new MOT garage and the tester was quite strict, failing for silly things like missing rear fog light and rear seat belts. He did however identify that my passengerside front lower arm balljoint was really fooked, which I'm thankful for. So it was back to the garage to get a new arm on. Stuck a temporary fog light on the rear and removed my back seats entirely and went through the next MOT with no issues.
  2. Nice, good luck with mapping. Certainly looks the part now
  3. You need to upgrade to waterless water. Fixed my air filter leakage problems
  4. Putting a single on mine tonight, so busy for a good reason
  5. That supra is only to show off with. Driveability looks terrible, let alone the choice of brakes. I highly doubt that car sees any real use
  6. I think I might have one, i'll need to check on the condition of the leather bit. Where abouts in kent are you?
  7. Presumably for a non turbo? Unless you are NA-T, I would keep the resonators, helps with throttle response.
  8. I went and visited them personally when I bought my ridox skirts and rear arches, so I could inspect the quality before purchasing following some bad experiences mentioned on the forum. I had no issues. Quality and fitment was very good. Helpful support when I had questions etc
  9. Timing lights are cheap. £20 or so. If you run a car with a distributor I'd say it's a must have tool. Far better to dial in the timing properly rather than relying on match marks. Takes 30seconds to setup the tool and see your timing, useful skill to learn
  10. I'd value this at around 17k. Whilst the engine is very good, as I buyer I wouldn't pay anymore unless it came with a 6 speed. Either way, it's a very nice example so no doubt you can get a lot for it. good luck
  11. Could be symptoms of a sticky throttle. Usually this has more to do with the throttle mechanism rather than the throttle plate/butterfly. Considering you can get an NA throttle body for cheap, I'd suggest replacing that first. If no luck, then it could be related to IACV.
  12. My celica brings all the boys to the yard
  13. Nice supra. Just FYI, HEL brake lines have a bit of crappy reputation for breaking. If you go ahead with installing them then be sure to keep an eye on them
  14. JZX90 (non vvti) & JZX100 (vvti) are both front sumps. You will need to convert to a rear sump setup to fit in the supra. Changing from a front to rear setup means you will also have to adjust the oil return, and maybe even drill and tap it if it's of a 2JZGE. Other than that, you just need supra engine mounts and you can throw the engine in. Although get ready for some fun with the wiring. Plenty of info online on non vvti 1jz ecu/plugs pinouts, but less so for vvti.
  15. I've got one for sale in sale section
  16. Good photos nice to meet you tonight
  17. Mines gonna be filthy with all this rain but I'll be there
  18. ICP stock genuine cambelt parts usually. I use them quite a bit and had no issues
  19. If the stock arches have been cut and a wider arch kit is used then it's a wide arch. Wide body is across the supra
  20. Did you not read the item description before you bought it? Made for those looking to run power steering with aftermarket intake manifolds like the PHR CNC Intake, Virtual Works Racing, or Hypertune, this power steering kit, clears the manifold and fits perfectly, tucked away from the large plenums.
