  1. 1JZ/2JZ sumps are interchangeable. Sumps come in either the "front" (aristo/gs300/chasers etc) or "rear" sump configuration (Supra/soarer etc)
  2. There are two rubber adjusters you can rotate to raise/lower height front of bonnet. They are located just above each headlight.
  3. I've fitted one to NA box before
  4. The link ecu P&P board is meant to be installed into your old ECU case btw. Just unscrew the screws that hold your currently NA ECU motherboard in place and link ecu will bolt in place.
  5. BPU's never really sound super loud, especially on idle. Sounds about right to me
  6. Use Torques UK fittings for a lot of my AN lines. Normally just assemble it myself as it only takes a few minutes, but maybe they can assemble it for you?
  7. Why not just ask Whifbitz for appropriate length feed and drain lines with fittings assembled for their kit?
  8. This is the first big power supra I saw up close and personal. I was buzzing after taking that video, I have a massive soft spot for this car. Awesome to see she has and will be well looked after.
  9. Ok so first of all, the Emanage is a piggyback. This means that you run the original Supra ECU, then wire in the emanage to run in conjunction with stock ECU. The emanage recieves certain signals relating to fuel/ignition/manifold pressure etc, then outputs a different value back to the main ECU. This is known as signal "fudging". There are also a number of signals like water temp, crank angle, rpm etc that the emanage gets wired to but it only reads these signals. With regards to temperature sensor, the eManage can be wired to read the factory water temperature sensor, or use it's own independent sensor. Assuming you have a problem with your factory water temp sensor, it will affect both the stock ECU & piggyback. The factory ECU however does not use an oil temperature sensor, so it does not care about this. As a result neither will the eManage If you are using an emanage blue, you can find software and instructions here If you are using emanage ultimate you can find software and instructions here I think Whifbitz have a branch somewhat near you. They have loads of experience setting up NA-T supra's on emanage. No doubt they can help you if you get stuck.
  10. What type of oil temperature gauge do you have. Is it a mechanical one or a cheap electronic one? If the car has problem starting due to fuel changes, then you either have a sensor reporting falsely which is throwing off the ECU or your map has a bad cold start tune. I assume you are using a greddy emanage? I have seen settings on these not remain consistent over time.
  11. Now that is cool. I played with a DIY version of one of these once upon a time, but refresh rate on live data was super slow so wasn't good for picking up minor changes in a small period of time. Interested to hear your thoughts on the OEM tool. I want one
  12. Pretty much every JZ I've played with does this, so wouldn't worry
  13. SOLD Subframe needs a bit of love, but not major rust and bushes are still in good nick. £125
  14. SOLD Ring and Pinon 3.7 set. Ideal for anyone with small case NA diff wanting a slightly longer ratio. £200
  15. SOLD Imported recently from Japan. Pretty good condition, two tears on rubber boots. £250
  16. I'm running Link on mine, love it. That said, if you have an auto trans Link is harder to get to play nice with autobox as you will need to run factory ECU in parallel to control the box. Syvecs on the other hand I believe can do direct control of auto gearbox.
  17. Unless you are going for a crazy high power build I wouldn't worry, stock valves do fine.
  18. Click on "Settings" in top right of screen. On the left column, scroll down until you find "Paid Subscriptions". You can pay for membership there
  19. If you are leaving the car exposed for long periods of time, can't you just put a sheet of plastic over the engine bay under the bonnet? I normally do this with any vented bonnets I deal with. Does a good enough job keeping water out until needing to work on them.
  20. I guess the question is. Is the sensor outputting too many pulses due to the shaft it's reading from, or is it because of the sensor? I had a quick look over the parts diagram from Supra/LS400, but couldn't decifer this. Failing all of the above, short of changing the box I guess you could try one of these: http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=126/category_id=-1/mode=prod/prd126.htm
  21. Mine was fine at 350hp. Finally killed it around 430hp with 450 ft.lbs of torque. Torque will kill the box quicker than HP. Using a VVTI engine, it is easy to get quite high torque low down, so careful with that.
  22. Because they don't. They never have, and I have yet to see any news to see that they will change that soon.
