  1. Yeah, that Supra is something to be seen in person for sure. No picture can capture how good that car looks. That said, for anyone wanting to see pics, I've posted it in the Gold Rush thread in the projects section.
  2. Here are some more pictures. If you have the chance you should definitely see this Supra in person, it's a work of art. As always, if anyone wants any of the above in high resolution then let me know. Edit: Told your mate in the RX7 that I would stick this video of him here too.
  3. Was a nice turn out tonight, bit chilly though. Will work on getting the proper HD photos out tomorrow, but a little sneak peak from what I took from tonight.
  4. Will stop by at some point with a few mates. Will have my camera to get some shots
  5. Saw this Supra on the way back to campus today, anyone's here?
  6. Would be up for coming down to this, just got some new equipment for my camera so would be nice to test it out. That said, I also need to scrounge a lift if anyone has a free seat.
  7. Just to say that I don't need to be picked up from Canterbury exclusively, can probably make it to other places in Kent easily if that's easier for someone to pick me up from. Willing to pay my half in fuel, just getting desperate for a lift.
  8. Good to see the engine is out! Lemme know if you need another pair of hands one weekend
  9. Nice to meet some of you last night, will definitely be attending some more meets. Here's some of the photos from last night.
  10. Anyone here? I drive past this a few times a day, always make sure to slow down and admire it.
  11. Seems they have also developed a "tuned" version of the 86. I think it's an improvement, but still lacking. http://speedhunters.com/archive/2011/11/28/car-spotlight-gt-gt-modified-toyota-86.aspx
  12. No one passing through Canterbury then? Coaches won't be able to get me back home later tonight so bit stuck on getting there
  13. Kind of a long shot but thought I'd try anyway, I just arrived in the UK and I would love to come check out some Supras. Is anyone who is planning on going this Friday driving down through Canterbury? (currently located there), I don't really have any other way of getting down to Bluewater easily. I could help pay for some fuel if needed.
  14. Anyone else getting an error from youtube saying the video is blocked due to music copyright reasons?
  15. Nice supra, looks real nice. Hopefully I can follow suit sometime soon
  16. Hi there everyone, Will try not to bore you all with a story-of-my-life thing, but my love for imports began at quite a young age (grew up with fast and furious) and I thought the Skyline was for me, and whilst I still would take it any day, the Supra has captivated my thoughts for the past few years (Youtube is such a good resource). Call it young blind sided angst, but I want a Supra of my own as fast as possible. I could rant on about what I love about it, but I'm guessing people reading this have a good idea of what's to love about the Supra Basically, I'll be returning to the UK (probably around Kent or Surrey) for uni and will be 19 by the time I get my licence. I don't know if getting a Supra for my first car is the best idea, but I don't really care. Just want one, the itch is becoming unbearable. Not sure if this is the best place to ask questions, but might as well since I have your attention(s). 1) Obviously I'll need to get a quote for myself, but do you think the insurance costs between a stock NA Supra and a stock TT would be much higher? (Since I would prefer a TT straight off, but I'll happily settle for an N/A if insurance really hates me that much) 2) Again with insurance, but I've read that Imports cost more to insure then UK models, is there any real set difference between the two in terms of cost or is it specific for each car? 3) Is 5 grand as an absolute top for a stock TT do-able? 4) Got any good stories about starting with your Supras (want to put myself at ease ) Anyway, thanks for the read. Though there will be a time lag of a few months before I can start my journey with my Supra and this community, I'm really looking forward to it, so I'll just keep reading the logs and keep researching for myself till then! Cheers Mike
