  1. Can someone advise where I can buy an aftermarket throttle cable please.
  2. I've the same problem with mine, haven't addressed it yet.
  3. Have to say, I'm glad I moved back to the UK recently from living in central Paris for most of the year. There is a heavy immigration presence there. I've friends who were in the area that I checked in with this morning. There would of been a lot of students there in that area sadly.
  4. Yes mate. As long as we all agree that if I get any surprise tax letters we will split that also. I doubt we will, but it could indeed happen (it's caught up with me few weeks after item has arrived). I'll just take payment then ship them all out. It'll be round £3.80 to post it out like most the other bits I sell. As long as we all pay equal shares I don't mind who buys the bits. I don't mind sorting it though
  5. Yes an10 fitting as shown in first photo. I bought a separate hose end an10 fitting as I'm definitely ordering it. Your best bet is to measure clearance. This will only be around 60mm high
  6. 32.11 USD shipped tracked. So around 54 GBP each plus postage to each person after they arrive from uk address. Who wants to order them?
  7. The group buy will be cheaper for us all hey. I'd prefer an AN fitting too. Was only an idea. I'll let you know the price for postage. But single item on phr checks out at £90. So this will definitely be cheaper.
  8. 75 usd per item. Plus postage. Which will be bum rape high. I'm waiting on a price for delivery. If of course I can't make them.
  9. I've asked for a price for three direct off OCD I'll post up the response!
  10. As it happens, I'm going to see if I can make one. If not I'll be buying and definitely up for a group buy? You guys want a custom made one if I can make one similar as above? It'll be push fit not an fitting.
  11. £10 posted. These bad boys are £45 without postage. This is unused, my FFIM won't clear it as it's not a TT intake. Perfect for NA-t running tt or xs power intake manifold.
  12. After one of these bad boys please, as my FFIM doesn't suit the TT fitting; http://www.powerhouseracing.com/p-4657-phr-billet-2jz-power-steering-pump-fitting.aspx http://www.powerhouseracing.com/images/Product/large/4657.jpg
  13. I paid £400. But then it had to be shipped as well. That included TPS and the TB all attached. You're pay a bit on top of whatever you buy that intake for, to get the TB adapter welded/made etc. Don't forget the fittings your need for the powersteering relocation. The union your need part number 44337-24020 is £45 quid delivered. PLUS your need hosing. I just had to order the fitting so I can fit my intake. Pain in the ass. Also, your need an IACV setup. Mk3 I'd expect. Oh and the intake needs the correct flange to suit it. Your have to cut open your loom covers to relocate the IACV wiring, as it currently sits over the engine following the guide on the cams. You will also have to relocate your battery. I used the SRD kit, though it's not the cheapest and the fittings though nice, didn't suit the position of my battery very well. That exercise will cost you a pretty penny as you need heavy duty cable the length of the new battery location. Your need to use OEM TB or if you find a 80/100mm source a TPS sensor adapter. Don't forget intake on the wrong side, so new intercooler piping (and with that, new holes). Vacuum lines need to be installed. I advise replacing them all at the same time (they will be old anyway). Plan all these items out first. No FFIM intake will be easy. Yes it looks pretty, but no one seems to mention it's actually a pain in the ass
  14. Solved. Also found an old thread after I googled the part number of the port needed.. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/archive/index.php/t-266911.html For reference, relocating power steering res parts needed; TT suction port union 44337-24020 suction port union O-Ring 90301-11016 TT reservoir and some 16mm hose and 10mm hose Also - http://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-1st-gen-1992-2000/492459-2jzge-na-t-tt-ecu-mod-158.html (Replacing SC400 res with TT res in below comments) "The other small hose half way up the side of the reservoir is the return line back from the rack. It's like a fountain the bottom hose of reservoir feeds fluid to the pump, pump pushes it through rack and back into side of reservoir to start over again. The stock one is bolted to the power steering pump, and then there is a nipple for a small hose half way up the side. The sc400 one instead of being bolted onto something has a nipple for a large hose coming out the bottom, and then there is a nipple for a small hose half way up the side. So just take the small hose from the stock reservoir, and extend it to the side of the sc400 reservoir. its the same size so it should slide on the same and use a new clamp on it. I don't actually extend it though if you follow the small hose it goes to a hardline right by the fusebox, so I usually just remove it and use 1 longer hose from hardline to wherever the sc400 reservoir is going. The bottom hose nipple on the sc400 resevoir for the larger hose, that needs to run to where the old power steeering reservoir was bolted down, basically running into the pump. To connect a hose onto the pump you need the nipple off a tt supra and the O-ring that goes with it. these are the part numbers. 44337-24020 Union 90301-11016 Ring, O (ID= 19.5mm, OD= 22.5mm - difficult to source exact Part No, contact different supplier perhaps hosing company) this union with the oring will bolt onto the top of the power steering pump (using one of the old reservoir bolt holes) and it will let you connect a hose to the pump so you can run it to the bottom of the sc400 reservoir. 15. your need to relocate your power steering res. these are quite harsh on the internal design. i would scan Supra forums and find a ported and intake with velocity stacks inside. i paid around £400 for mine with 80mm TB attached. If you try and cut corners, you're only reduce horsepower. The hassle will remain the same whatever unit you buy. Try and but a better second hand unit, plus if it's been fitted, it will have had most alignment issues resolved.
  16. Installing a TT res, where would I find a listing for the fittings used please. Any exploded diagrams around please? Can't put my hand to any. 16th October 15 Update - Problem solved. Fitting information and part numbers added, including diagram. Everyone loves diagrams.
  17. 2.5" on an NA is suitable for both power, and noise. 3" is always really loud, and annoyingly loud. If you have just a muffler, it shouldn't make a huge difference even if it's 3", as the 2.5" system will restrict flow. There isn't a turbo housing to reduce noise, so the NA throws noise out. If you stay NA, get a 2.5" system. But if you've had issues of it rotting or needing replacement, just take the plunge and buy a full 2.5" stainless system. Whifbitz provide a nice 2.5" system either single or twin box that sustains time very well indeed. Nice 304 material. Cheap eBay systems won't ensure you get decent steel.
  18. herbiemercman. You're writing technique makes it so difficult to read, I actually gave up and skipped a bit. Plus I also HND in mechanical engineering, I topped it up to a full BSc, doesn't make me a tuning god. I've never seen someone DIY fit an exhaust manifold and burn out valves. Anyone can fit a turbo kit, just make sure you get decent parts and it mapped properly. Wish I'd fitted my own really. But then, I'm lazy
  19. I'd take the rear bumper marker lights please. 100% Possibly the boot as well price depending.
  20. I think adding a turbo onto your car will devalue it. The car is mint, because of so many NA items. As soon as you fit a turbo, you'll have to remove many of them and then spend a fortune getting the install up to the scratch as nice and clean as the rest of the engine bay. Financially there is a gap between the quality of your car and the one you want, being a manual TT. You have to keep saving dude, or accept the difference. I appreciate you have an amazingly good condition NA and the offer price was amazing, but going turbo will not provide you with the same amazing car with more power. Going turbo may blow your w58, and/or diff (it happens), your end spend on the car MAY be as much as your ideal TT anyway. 3k for a turbo AND making it as clean as it is now AAAAAAND covering for anything that might blow up, isn't enough. It's crazy how you can't find the TT you want for 10k, but your willing to throw only 3k of budget turbo parts on your 7k NA. Just backwards that IMO. Trust me after 1 diff and 1 gearbox I'm royally annoyed with myself and could have had what I wanted in the first place.
