1. I meant I couldn't see a difference in GRAMS 50MM+ and the OEM body. I am looking for these two to be the same, but I can't see it. Looking for similar widths in the photos. But variation in stock body. The white photo looks OEM to me.
2. Can someone help me with seeing the width increase please. I'm struggling to see a comparison against Grams 50mm OEM style rear arches, against NUR arches. NUR arches state 47.5mm. GRAMS state 50mm. Yet, the photos tell a different story?
3. Gram's do sell 50mm wider arches. But they don't seem to be wider to me, am I missing something? http://www.gramsstyling.co.uk/shop-2/toyota-supra-oem-style-rear-fenders-50mm/
4. Waiting for a call back from NUR. I'm considering all wide rear aches. Goes in for respray in two weeks. So looking at all my options before kick off. Not considering over fenders however. Thanks
5. Yeah washer tank. Expansion was moved anyway. The piping is going to contact the bottle apparently. Having pipes welded. I need to strip the wing off to confirm exactly what routing he's using as I left the fabricator to it and need to check that.
6. Any commonly done units for this. I need to move mine due to new intercooler pipe setup getting in the way! Wasn't sure if to just pipe it into the boot. Is there another cars bottle which is more suited? I haven't really tried to remove it yet ill be examining it properly this weekend.
7. You'd want to review your map. It will adjust flow characteristics. Retaining the runners may reduce the effects of change but that's definitely something which will need reviewing. The sensors should be on the throttle body. Depending what your setup is there would depend what needs to be changed. If your planning to use stock throttle body I'd say the swap should be fairly straight forward after retro fitting a oem flange for the stock TB. The manifold after all is just a casting unit for cylinder distribution. I'd not want to exchange a cheap unit without nice smooth inlets. Some of those cheaper units look like they flow horribly due to extremely tight radius on each cylinder inlet.
8. Want some advice please. Want an auto supra. Seen a manual one I like. What's the going rate on a full auto to manual setup. Box clutch and even pedals. As I'd be converting to auto I'm curious the going rate. As it'll affect the price I'm prepared to pay for the new car. Advice appreciated!

Full Respray Advice

The flake idea sounds good, just been looking at new Audi's thinking the deep shine is just so nice I want something a bit special. Even though still blank. I'll look into the BMW colours. Any other nice blacks to consider? It's been a long time mate, with my living abroad in Paris, and having transmission and head issues. Needless to say, I'm very eager to be back on the road with the new setup/style.
10. So, after much pain and resolving a long list of issues I'm nearly back with a new setup. Before I finish my power setup final tune I'm having a respray. In less than 2 week's, car goes in. I was going to go 202 black. Has anyone tried any different blacks to give a deeper finish, I was almost tempted to change the whole colour. IIRC a non standard colour puts insurance up? Advice welcome.
11. That a new rear window boot seal? Look's real clean and different so the grooved one I have. Any tips on locating one? I'm just about to remove my rear window for full respray
12. Looking to get some more of these. Any interest?
13. Have you tried removing the dash cluster to check the wiring. I also had this issue, turned out a small wire had gone brittle and snapped.
14. What's the typical symptoms please. Happens when pulling off load then fades out. Checked brake fluid which I was tipped off about. Not sure about any other possibilities.
15. Yes. Ignitor needs chassis contact. Check beneath it your see the requirement. It won't fire up if it's loose.
16. Just want a few thoughts on what I'm doing here. Not seen anyone changing flanges on manifolds often. Probably because you can buy them how you want. But I can't spend £1k on a pretty manifold, plus GE manifolds aren't common place - unless it's a cheap 4 bolt design (that's twisted and won't even fit anyway). Looking to move my waste gate position. NA-t manifolds typically have a 4 bolt flange bottomside as shown; I want to cut the 4 bolt and go v band, easy enough hopefully; Benefits include (hopeful) reliability, ease of spring change and larger diameter flow. I've currently got a 4 bolt adapter to vband. However, I had issues on the last dyno for 417hp and ran 18psi, was on a 7psi spring and no controller. Boost creep happened visible on dyno. Due to reduced flow, I didn't get much power. Area diameter of allowable port on wastegate was what Austec said at the time. Haven't measured it recently, but though I'd just go a better waste gate anyway PLUS wanting to move the location to topside, instead of bottomside. Anyone changing wastegate spring will know the pains. Due to the location of the bottomside wastegate it's a serious pain in the a** doing work on it from under the car. Commonly, wastegate issues mean downpipe, turbo and manifold removal. Even more of a pain for those NA-t setups still running overhead intake as that'll mean most your piping and TB in this area. PAIN!!! Though I've got a front facing intake, I want a topside v band waste gate position; http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/500x500/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/w/h/whifbitz2jzmanifold_singlewastegate.jpg While doing this, I'm hoping to also add a few braces; Considering the twin waste gate output too, but so many people do it, is it worth it?? Obviously it won't look at pretty as these artwork style Whifbitz manifolds. The final item to review is to port the manifold. Now, I won't be removing much material due to it being tubular I'll just weaken weld zone's or port right through the side of the tube. I'll be trying to smooth the insides, attend to any weld zones but was going to weld any branch areas with little material and create split lines. IF I can get in there that is. Thought's on any changes like this? Minimal I know, but the intake side has had loads of work, this needs flange adaption so thought I'd tinker with it anyway. Every little counts. Even gasket matching and some clean surfaces right.
17. Modifying a TT inlet or making your own, are both a ball ache. The cheapest options though however. Buying an intake would probably mean the inside is cast finish, which isn't the best for flowing. See if you can purchase an intake which has trumpets. Requirements to install a FFIM on a GE is as follows; Relocate battery Relocate power steering res Adapter fitting from power steering pump (TT fitting £65, 90° billet fitting £85'ish) - some intakes may require a 90° fitting (my TT fitting ended up hitting) Throttle body flange to be welded onto intake (OEM or aftermarket, unlikely intake will have this supplied) - though a good opportunity to upgrade Extended throttle body wire New intake pipework - however not an issue if you haven't plumbed your intercooler yet Re-designing your vacuum piping - not a major issue. But take your time reviewing what you need, and how the OEM system is piped Tuning - it will run lean with higher flowing, even running non-turbo Some people use a 2.5" reduced to run into the TB to clear the turbo. Personally, I just ran whatever sized pipework I wanted. I used 3" piping and had no issues. 600hp has been done using stock intake. It's easier for plugs and injectors, apart from that the vacuum system will be unreachable. It's an expensive mod, if I knew the hassle required I probably wouldn't have done it.
18. hi I'd like the headlight please. But I can't collect mate. Don't mind paying extra for postage and wrapping duties.
19. See JM imports do it. But had extended delay on getting a price back from them. Anyone else do it? My suede is faded and I just want leathers.
20. I always find someone knows someone else who had more bhp. I don't even tell people anymore.
21. B is only version for supra I believe.
22. Bought never fitted. Selling as my new ecu will have what I need. £100 posted.

How did I never know about this previously!!!! I need this in my life!!! I'm 100% going this route with my infinity. I need a new head unit anyway. That's top notch
