    Headlight Rings

A set of facelift inserts would be good Del, PM me I'll forward my address. Get you a free set sorted out. I'm hoping the tooling for the fog and dipped beam will be the same, whereas facelift will require it's own main beam so I'll probably only do tooling for that if there's enough interest after prototypes have been made.
  2. The frequency of stroker kits on NA engines shows how affordable they are sadly. Shame there isn't an upgraded intake and throttle setup which works and gives NA owners a small option, even for low hp gains.
  3. So got some material for a larger butterfly valve. As there isn't much material I expect I song be removing much material from the bore. However. NA owners don't have access to any upgrades. So it'll be better than nothing. How many NA owners have never changed anything? Most I expect. Even 5hp overall with polished intake be better than nothing. I remember looking for plug and play mods for my own GE engine before I had a good job able to fund expensive boost.

Ordered a set of pre facelift headlights to receive condition and do a trial with. I've measured up an old set if inserts and got a design in mind for tooling. Will be ordering material for this in a few days. Finally making some progress.
  5. Seems to make sense. So how come so many people buy these products? The ocd one is mental expensive. Surely tuners and alike would be common to this?
  6. Suppose both have benefits then. But has any actually been proven to put more power down?
  7. Thoughts on the use of each? Which one is better? This also comes into the consideration of the use of fixed engine mounts. As the use of these aid the movement, so supposing fixed engine mounts would stop this. But then, if that's the case, why did TRD make stiffened mounts, but PHR make solid mounts?
  8. Lol I'm not surprised. At first it probably isn't clear. Glad you got it okay though! - - - Updated - - - All kits posted paid before 6th July.
  9. No problem mate. Glad you liked it :-) feel free to leave feedback regarding your enjoyment on the traders page
  10. Where do I buy these from? Toyota? Anyone any sets for sale please.
  11. I have these in stock now. Please PM for details, I'll be posting them out next day after payment.
  12. I've a OEM front bumper. It has holes where some quick release clamps were drilled into it. Also got a front bumper fibreglass splitter I never fitted. PM me with your number, I'll whatsapp some photos
  13. If the pressure isn't increased, but the bottle neck areas are increased, then surely flow will increase. Thus easier to hit bhp figures with the same psi. Perhaps a tweak for boost controller would be more power, but perhaps someone want's to increase power without doing that route. Surely the pressure test is a measure for the quality of the seal, and setting the standard to meet if machining it out.
  14. That's pretty good, do you have to reference anything when you quote? I'll be back on the road fully after lot's of new changes, so a much higher value would be appreciated.
  15. Has anyone ever increased the bore size and butterfly flap? I know throttle body options are limited for people who want a plug and play installation.

    Headlight Rings

Thread revival... I'm in the process of qualifying a dedicated machine/fabrication shop. This week I'm going to be prototyping headlight rings. I'll hopefully have a price shortly. From what I've seen, pre-facelift is 2 rings per light, facelift is 3? Please post any interest. I'll be gauging prices on quantity of people interested. Thanks REALLY happy I've finally pushed my customs work to the next level and hopefully taking it a bit more seriously with producing my OWN products in house rather than relying on designing them and contracting out the production. 1. 2. 3.
  17. Guys sorry for the delay. Parcel force screwed up delivery, lost the item and have only just resolved the issue. Again, sorry for who has sent and are waiting for their item.
  18. Been looking for a new supplier for the Supra logo bottle openers, and found a new supplier who I've been speaking with for a little while. I'll be selling this exclusively in the UK, so was looking to advertise on here before I place an order and begin advertising elsewhere. Any interest on my first order? It's a titanium TRD bottle opener. I'll be looking to design a range of Supra and other logo's. I'll be doing a similar design to the old item I used to sell. Due to the material, it isn't as cheap as stainless steel. I may be doing steel items in the future. Will be £18 delivered.
  19. Does this mean it's big single round 3
  20. I've ordered another load of these. Will be arriving in the next week or so. Please contact me to place an order.
  21. If your staying NA then just refurbished yours. If you ever want horsepower don't even bother just upgrade. Because it's had a turbo on it doesn't mean it's a timebomb. Just means probably less reliable. It's personal opinion to which is worst from the two options. Never even heard of someone refurbish a w58 and I've been on the NAt scene a while. So I'd just want a new box. Stock or not. I'd not be investing into a gearbox that's known to be weak on hp and isn't highly valuable. Wait and get a non turbo w58 or do both. But don't waste 2k on any w58 setup. I sold my old r154 setup for 1200. Admittedly they are clunky boxes. But w58 don't invest in it. Refurbished is what, few hundred pounds? I don't see why a second box is mega bucks.
  22. I'd get the NAt box. And keep yours in case that fails then you've a contingency anyway.
  23. I believe running without IACV depends on the ecu. My manifold didn't have a flange for the IACV so I had to weld one on. Previous owner didn't run it. So it can be done. A small flange isn't mega money though. http://www.driftmotion.com/BPM-202-59-p/dm2737.htm
