  1. Yup. 304 is typically automotive industry grade. Like my exhaust. Sadly they didn't use the same grade for the welding In oil and gas industry we use to work with 316 because it had better qualities as sea applications are seriously corrosive in comparison to most other uses. My exhaust from VWR doesn't seem to polish up too well or even last too much time without becoming dull Maybe have to search online for info on what they use exactly.
  2. In my previous job we used to passivated stainless steel. If the layer is disturbed and not allow to be re created it will indeed begin to rust. By using some chemicals it will react. And indeed corrode. Perhaps not through typical means. Stainless steel can and will indeed corrode in a rust like fashion through introduction of some chemicals if not allowed to form it's passive layer with oxygen
  3. Cleaning my exhaust up, not just the tail pipe but the main unit. Polishing it at the moment just with various buffers and mops, basic polishes at the moment. I've just concerns perhaps using a polish might remove the passive layer and cause issues with rust prevention. Haven't much experience in stainless steel polishing. I don't want to use a metal polish, as it won't go far enough for the area I'm polishing.
  4. There's a few relays in the footwell. You can switch your lights on and hear / feel them click. You can switch a couple as well to see if they aren't working. As they are the same part number.
  5. Just seeing what's about before I go through insurance. As it's cracked and coming out with the respray anyway.
  6. I'd get some ridox style front wings. The easiest oem style wing and should help cover that wheel overhang. Expensive way to fit the wheels but anything else would ruin that oem look. Ridox front wings don't even look after market.
  7. Tried fuses under the hood too?
  8. He said if I do place an order for over 10 sets, he'd drop everything and get on with it and process them all within a few days. If people wish to stipulate a time frame they'd be happy with so we could come up with a group decision for agreement I'm sure we could arrange something. I'd love them to be cheaper. But he has a niche market, I can't find any other suppliers. I'm half way through polishing a set, so it depends how badly people want a set.
  9. Nope. Purchase price only. I'd still need to confirm shipping costs to UK, taxes and re-post to you directly. Granted, these are expensive. But for me, I've forked out a respray, new wheels and if the headlights cost me a few hundred just to finish the car off it's worth it. All comes down to the difference it'll make to your car. Personal preference.
  10. I'm just starting to design some billet ones actually. Shame you don't wait a while
  11. TT6 supra will be twice as much in value to a 350z, not really a fair deal. 373hp single turbo supra feels like an animal compared against a 300hp NA 350z, when I drove my friends 350z years ago.
  12. Thanks James! Prices are $500. There's a reduction depending on numbers, all the way down to $400 if we get over 10 people interested. Here's a few more photos to get you interested while we wait for mod approval;
  13. I love the colour match with those posts! Such a nice looking motor. How do you quick release your front plate?
  14. Missed out TT 5 speeds. And NAt conversions. Though sadly they seem to go for similar price to an NA these days. Everyone moans about no turbo. Fit one then suddenly everyone agrees price doesn't go up. So why does a single TT get a price hike The market is odd right now.
  15. Okay mate, thanks. I'll send Listy a message. He's my favourite Prices for these, last cost I saw was 400 USD. Last conversion made this 300 GBP. That doesn't include shipping or import tax. Prices at this time, are no 100% confirmed and will also be affected by number of purchases. I'll hit up a mod and update this with more info.
  16. Speaking to a guy in the US about providing these as a group buy. As gaining lots of interest all over media sitea and I personally want a set to suit my own current needs. How do I go about requesting permission for this again? Is just it a thread then wait for approval from mods.
  17. I'm going AEM infinity. Seems to hold all the features without the extreme price tag.
  18. Doesn't help with wider arches though mate!
  19. Standard one won't fit David. The car's too wide, plus these struggle over after market front bumpers.
  20. Can anyone recommended a company who does custom made covers. Aside from a bit more width, body kits never fit properly and looking for something a quality fit.
  21. Go somewhere else. Sounds loke they are over reacting.

    Headlight Rings

For sure. Not everyone wants too or even knows how to strip them down. Plus having decent polishing equipment.

    Headlight Rings

Thanks guys! I'll start splitting my trial set and time how long it all takes for a refurbish and ring install. Then I'll have an idea for price with them fitted.

    Headlight Rings

It will be stainless steel. I'll offer them polished and also fitted.
