Only because my turbo bro. I have another one, and want the big ticket one day. Just scoping what I could do before I went for something crazy. It's a difficult call still. You can do so much more, the more you spend its really an compounding effect. If I spend another k I get pistons. Add a few more k gey a stroker. Add a few more k get a head too lol fuck sake so I even fix this or make a space rocket. Do you have a hp goal?

I've never seen any comparison data on makes, I've always felt size contributes more of a performance difference on heat transfer, than manufacture variation. I have an ETS cooler. I just wish I went 5" instead of 4". An inch matters!

I'm not sure any turbo capable of 700hp can have "no" lag. but that's a whole other topic to be fair mate.

Ah cool man, if you track it I agree its worth doing. I reckon doing porting will be a game changer. I have a spare head if you ever need it.

Do you have a spare head for the upgrades? Selected cam choice? I never had any issues on jspec brakes when I put a turbo on mine. Only saw issues when I went on a track. But suspension well worth doing. Are you planning to track it? I fitted hsd to mine. Too stiff personally. Can't wait to get it sold and go full air ride.

I can see the goal reaching closer mate. His car inspired my wide arch so much. Currently got his as my phone background Think headwork the way to go though. Especially when you're chasing those high rpm flow conditions.

Looking back at your old graph, you've net a bit more hp here too. Is that due to pushing this one as firmly as possible over 2 bar. I know you've mentioned before it struggled to stay above there for two long. Madness this being a 68mm. Very very cool. The ideal 1khp I've always thought, let alone 1100hp which is ridiculous Dream setup mate.

Awesome result. Is this due to the new 6870 being a gen 2 version? Or purely wear and tear. 979whp is amazing for that turbo, more than you had before if I remember correctly.

Halfords matt Black is an incredibly good match. I've repainted panels and done pillars using it, and it matches un painted panels. Make sure you get matt black. The satin isn't very nice and has a shine to it, plus doesn't mate interior at all.

I'd be tempted to get a local machine shop to strip and clean it up. And keep it as a spare. You even owning a GTE these days bro. Then I'd have the rest cleaned and sold.
