    Trailer/towing

I know a guy with a flat bed. But I'm from Devon. He travels the country doing deliveries. Big old unit too so supra well located. I'd look for someone local. Be less miles and maybe cheaper. Hit me up if you struggle. I can give you his details.
  2. Can't comment on rad to gearbox piping. Not setup an auto before. A thermostat isn't a bad idea for a big cooler but for the one you have, I wouldn't worry. An inline temp gauge would be cool. Even a cheap one would be cool. But maybe not essential. If you're aiming to run big hp (or big for its rating) I'd get a gauge. Personally. I'd fit leave it as you've set it up. No point behind a rad, if its a summer car. Just my thoughts. Kit youve fitted looks decent. Surprised you're not also fitting engine oil cooler.
  3. They were fucking horrendous to be fair I've been glowing since I went near them.
  4. Glad you got it sorted. What's the benefits from 264s on stock ecu?
  5. Aren't new bottom ends like 3.5k? Not to be a dick. But I think it's worth finding out how much a new full engine is mate to help you sell it. I feel 10k isn't considering the price of a brand new one. GLWS mate.
  6. Lux. Do you think a waste gate on your turbine exhaust housing would reduce any back pressure, from the top end drop off on boost. @Mike2JZ might have some thoughts as well. Just a thought I had on the back pressure situation.
  7. Plush. Loving them. Actually like the cage too. Didn't realise you had one. Is that a requirement for any of the regulations for the races you do?

    Soarer fuel pump

I'd be tempted to buy a new one. They're fairly low cost and new ones offer a bit more reliability.

    Hello all!

The problem is social media does not provide a string of communication in the same way per topic. Only per post. For this reason. I think topic and subject matter structure from forums will keep them alive. For questions, wants, sales and photo sharing, social media will often be the go too. But there's still a place for communication here, and often posts get lost on social. I will always use the forum first.
  10. Id recommend getting a proper evaluation done. It's fairly low cost and would help you provide a sale price. Of course, these are mostly done for insurance. But still give you an accurate idea. You'll get a mixed bag of opinions on here. Evaluations use example sales. @tayr
  11. Looks awesome mate. Think the rings make it real nice. Subtle.
  12. Lol didn't mean that you fucking wind up
  13. I nearly missed this post thought you has fitted a TRD. Mate oem spoiler is the best for sure. Just looks so classic and so many other cars copies this style. Is the original number plate that shape?
  14. Elbow on the turbo a good choice. Always killing silicone elbows otherwise. Spot weld the pipe mate. Then get someone to tig it properly. Easiest way.
  15. I know someone who can fabricate the arches onto the car if they need serious reconstruction. My own metal work guy remade oem arches for my rear. Utilising old arches and then by hand. Let me know if you want any photos.
  16. Can see your views lads and part of me agrees. But it's still my opinion the insurance companies match value adding items at the value of their agreement or the markets value, with valuations not always taking into consideration what is done or purchased, but what makes the car more desirable to own or collect. There are some right shit boxes out there with tons of cash spent on them but they arent anymore valuable after the upgrades. It's wise to be open to the line between those situations and what we spend on our cars as enthusiasts, as our choices won't always make the car more desirable adding value. Especially when it comes to personal preference visual modifications. To Nathan, I think it's good you've got a correlation between what you've spent and similar to what we feel is about right for your car. But that is not a common financial relationship for the value. Ive only broken even in the last 2 years of ownership.
  17. I think someone else would struggle, due to the cost of the labour for fitting the parts. Don't forget man you done most of the work yourself. Best to get the guy Taylor linked for a full valuation. He's pretty cheap and provides a really decent report.
  18. If it's still running well, I'd not beat yourself up about it mate.
  19. Can see your viewpoint here but going to disagree with you. Being able to justify where money has been spent, sadly doesn't add sale value, even though it would cost an amount to replace. Wheels, body kit, wouldn't add any value. Maybe some desirable rare model of a sponsored TRD maaaaybe but even a genuine kit, fairly common due to fact its sexy shape. Shell condition seems to be more important than having a bodykit. 25k does seem fair money, given it's not budget parts. Mileage is also another big factor not mentioned buddy @Nathanj1142
  20. Really depends on the spec mate. NAt doesn't necessarily add a huge amount, I'm under the impression only she'll restoration work would add value and that's still only minor. What's your full spec.
  21. Thats awesome. I had considered maybe a system like that would be needed but didn't know someone can made one. Is this something you could fit to other setups? I suppose the limiting factors are standardised adjustor diameters, correlating positions and assumtpion they adjust the same way. So cool someone's already done that. I'm guessing you'd only want a few beers tokens for it
  22. Afternoon all, I'm looking at different air setups. Does anyone have a system they can adjust the stiffness while driving? Also has anyone ever had a decent amount of hp on them. Most I've seen is 700hp. Different places state adjusting the pressure makes a difference. But that will adjust ride height as well. Main contributing factor seems to be the obvious dampers. But ideally I don't want to pull over to adjust it. I'm new to air suspension control systems but confident with pneumatics and electronic controls systems. Hoping I can find an adjustable system to allow ride stiffness while driving and not just height adjusting. The D2 system seems to be what I'm leaning towards.
  23. Prefer stainless for sure. Titanium almost sounds a bit raspy I think, leaning towards cheaper engines.
  24. Be great to see a dyno print out with this. Looks great. Also be nice to see the headlight halos working. Goodluck with the sale mate.
