PM'ed, I have about 5 sets left

Was thinking to include some subtle sensors into the bumper while painting. Has anyone done this? I'm worried it'll affect the nice smooth look of the rear bumper. Ideally colour coded. As the car won't be black.

Will the fog light bulb even fit. You will likely have to make a new cover for it to make that bulb fit I'm afraid. There's no other way around that situation.

Do you know if the 350z gearbox is the same length? I'll have a quick Google, but any information you have to hand that you've learnt about other swaps that could be used on your setup would be interesting to hear about. I envisage a 350z gearbox setup would be ideal price wise until the option of finding a 370z to swap in its place. Of course, that's assuming a perfect opportunity like that would be possible!

So are you just running oem power at the moment? I would definitely think making a couple of those anti-reverse items would be great. I'd love to see a price on that! Have you totalled the whole project together yet? I am shocked more people are exploring or at least, asking every question possible to follow in your footsteps regarding a 6 speed, high power reliable option.

I've blanked my middle light too. Not sure where it would even be a forced requirement? Definitely looks better.

How does it drive? With the new shifter. I had an extended shifter with my first R154 which was pretty naff, but with a proper extension I can't even tell it's non-mkiv transmission. How does it drive compared to a W58/V160? I've had a quick look on manual 370z boxes, with little luck

Painting it black usually makes it quite different in performance. I heard some people say that would make it illegal in the UK for MOT but never actually seen that defined. I advise painting it a very light metallic grey with 3 coats of decent laquer, re-chroming would be a nightmare.

I'd like a set as well please. Would Harry's recommended strut be the best to use please?

Get an exhaust control valve. I have a 4" valve on my 4" midpipe, allowed me to keep motorway drives a LOT quieter using a 4.5" VWR exhaust system

This is an age long discussion, even before the huge increase of everything car related. I recall thinking 3.5k for a 6 speed was insane. Yet now I look back and wish I had done that over buying an R154. For me personally, any options would have to consider; what happens if the gearbox fails. Clutches, shafts, bellhousings, are never going to be as costly as a gearbox. Any conversion should have a decent supply of replacement boxes. I think the 350z option has been done but I haven't seen a huge amount of people solve this problem. BMW gearbox swaps were popular, but the 6 speeds (think M3 ones are also getrag) aren't disposable like the diesel gearboxs, but they have not so accomodating ratios. I'm planning to sell my R154 after mines back on the road early 2019 and go down the BMW M3 getrag route.

Does anyone else get a fading sidelight, on the opposing side of indication during the function of their LED units? I don't know if it's my units or the wires feeding them. I'm going to make some little custom PCB's, so I have a direct 12v feed to the sidelights and the sidelight wire just powers them much like a relay setup. Hoping a new supply will resolve the issue. Curious if anyone else has the occurrence, as I'll have a few spare PCB units.

I still think they should be replying. I've done projects and have been way over on promise dates, but always keeping communication shows you aren't just being lazy.
