  1. I messaged him. Wanted 350 euro. Not so sure they are worth that to me right now
  2. I've a set for sale. £35 plus postage?
  3. Wouldn't you need to reduce the height of the rubber to improve contact upon the windows? I know a couple of the alfa's do that. Purely because the window won't open else. LOL probably mate. I suppose I'm just being overly cautious, as I haven't yet driven or parked with a set of 13J wheels I don't want to damage
  4. Really incredible bay man. Modified OEM is right in so many ways. You've really kept the fashion of the bay there, with some amazing shiny modern pieces. I love how you have got everything shouting out at you, but the longer you look, the longer you spot little finishing touches.
  5. I wonder if the motors in the mirrors can have a multi position? The new evoque points the mirrors down to the curbs in reverse, love that idea.
  6. I don't even HAVE a screen at the moment lol so no worries there!
  7. Love the mirror. How does it operate? Reduce glare etc?
  8. The heated seats would be amazing, I've never even seen or thought about those. I know whifbitz sells the screens. Do they really need them? Reversing camera with drop down number plate is my goal! You could replicate a multi position switch, like the one used for syvecs using a screen. You could make your own radio setup, be quite easy to link something to a switch for ecu maps. Hardest bit would be the radio. Like the screen to map idea. Automatic wipers would be totally ace, love that idea. I did think about how my Audi continues the wipers after engine stopped. Auto headlights, not so sure. I know BMW has turning adjustment inside their lights with corners!
  9. How does that operate dude?
  10. What have people done to modernise their Supra out of interest. I'm curious guys to hear what people have done to improve for their own lifestyle, or just purely from being creative, on their Supra. I'm doing a range of things, but be great to hear other peoples stories and what people think would be of benefit.
  11. Use a 2.5" out the turbo and as soon as possible, jump to 3" pipework. Order a 3" universal kit and then adjust as Style mentions above for the throttle body and oil feed. I have done a few intercooler comparisons using sensors before and after the intercooler, there isn't much data on it. Most eBay intercoolers will run a sub 400hp setup without any heat issues. I had over 70 degrees leaving my turbo, with low 20's coming out of the intercooler, so unless you're running mega HP just use a basic setup.
  12. Still a few polished sets about. Have about 5 sets left to sell. Waiting arrival from polishers.
  13. Would be cheap to be fair. Most bits are easily found. Not if you can easier buy the connectors. To be honest, be easier than cutting. Wonder what connectors they use? Will have a Google in a moment. I've tried looking, not that easy for the plug. I think I'll just install some multi pin connectors either end, so I can install and disconnect. Too much pain to try and source the impossible. As long as it's removal easy enough, that's the main thing I suppose!
  14. Glass headlights have a different shapes insert. Sorry but you will not be able to plug and play carbon inserts. Lenses casings and inserts from glass to prefacelift are differently shaped.
  15. Just a difference of opinion man it's no issue
  16. Maybe at some point, but I need to finish my own sets and then decide if I sell the spare lenses.
  17. What headlights you fitting them into? Facelift? Prefacelift?
  18. The oem system also comes with bumpers and wheels. I suppose no one needs ever change them either LOL.. plus I mean look at the supra electrics vs brand new cars. Why did they ever upgrade anything. Most items are sufficient. It just depends how you want to modernise your car. Or leave it as it is. Yeah Al. Any car really. I'll probably make two. Sell one just for fun and fit one to mine. Just for the hell of it.
  19. I shut shop for a bit. I might do a few more. I'm unsure really. So many people moaned about stuff that is really out of my control I kinda got fed up with being blamed when 20 year old headlights weren't perfect I prefer to just sell the rings and let people sort their own out to be fair. I might be tempted to do a couple sets.
  20. Just cut each bulb and attach to screw pin connector. Easy. If I design the circuit board it'll all easily be located in the rear and just sit between each 12v input. 8 wires.
  21. So, I've always wanted a rear fog in my rear lights. Currently, I have no rear fog. I know Heckler created PCB that can direct an switch to turn on a set of rear lights as fogs for this, has anyone ever made a circuit that tells you when a rear light is actually not working? Not the OEM one that just says light out, but a specific WHICH bulb or even brake lights (does the OEM setup even consider the brake lights)? I've created a bought that controls various front LED / Halo, I was looking to do something for the rear of the car just to tell me if any lights are. Using micro processor Arduino Mega. Some may say, why bother, but one of my goals in my build is to modernise it in hundreds of ways electronically and have it feel like a modern car technically. LED door handles (fading on), rear parking sensors, updated interior electronics, front lights startup function (I've halo & LED sidelights). Turning fog light when below 40mph and sharp turn as per the VAG cars is also on my radar! Hoping to setup my aircup with a nice touchscreen for front/front+rear lifts. Anyway, I'm side tracking LOL!
  22. So got an update on this, really looking forward to seeing them done. I've purchased some R0394 Cobra sensors/kit. Flush fitting. My paint guy has them fitted to his Mini, look very OEM I never ever realised they were after market. I'm going to actually smooth around them, skim over the whole area then sand back gently until the sensor pokes through. Meaning it will be a totally invisble setup. Yes, if a sensor goes, I'll need to repaint the bumper. But a risk worth taking in my eyes. I don't want them to be visible. Also considering a flush fitting camera to slot between the lights, but maybe one for the future. Funds are being spent finishing the car for getting back on the road. https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Cobra-R0394-4-Way-Car-Reversing-Parking-Sensor-Kit-Flush-Fit-Factory-LOOK-A0358/26002447908?iid=112878687316&chn=ps Car goes into paint first week in March. Will upload some pics!
  23. I may have some for sale in the next few weeks
