1. Some use a st205 gt4 cable. I had to have one specially made. Edit. Sorry. I thought you meant throttle cable.
2. Swap leads for cylinder 1 and 2 and they will fit.
3. Sadly it's on a different ring main I've just been told.
4. I'll do some research into a DLAN plug. That sounds interesting.
5. Getting my dad to measure the estimated distance today!
6. Hi all, so a random one for you this evening. My parents own a property that has a road separating them from their garden, at the end of the garden are the stables. I'm setting up a CCTV system so my parents can see the horses. I'm unsure the best way to transfer signal from the stables up the garden and across the road. I was thinking to use a WiFi extender across the road to the small outbuilding opposite the house (it's a medium-sized road nothing too mad) and then ethernet cable down the garden. But I've found some wireless systems that might be better attaching to the house high enough, I'm just not sure really. Any advice? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wireless-Waterproof-Installation-Controller-EAP110-Outdoor/dp/B01N4EGN6H/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
7. Genuine fuel pump. Lovely BPU upgrade. Be warned.. many cheaper eBay copies online. I checked (just in case, blame my paranoia, more info at https://www.driven2automotive.com/blog/spot-fake-walbro-gss342-fuel-pumps-2017-18/) and I can confirm this is indeed genuine. Hardly used, ran 417hp for about 6 months then removed as upgraded. £50 posted. Won't find a genuine pump cheaper. Comes with bag, wires. Thanks Sold.
8. Hi everyone, selling a spare set of headlights I have. I wasn't the one who delined them. They have some marks and crazing on the lenses. Someone might be able to spend some time and get these out. Not working on lights anymore so these are for sale. The lenses touches on of the inserts on the inside too. I would say the lights are in average condition. Some marks and scratches on the lenses. If someone has time and wanted a delined set to get them started already assembled, this might be the perfect set. There are no cracks in the lenses. Backs as you can see are in good condition. Brackets were painted at some point, still look good. Selling on here today and will be posting on eBay later tonight if no interest (as it's maximum £1 day today). I'm not making the rings anymore, but if the buyer wants a set of non-polished rings to be included (at a small cost) I can arrange a set to be made. Any questions, please ask. Thanks. Asking £350 posted. Includes insurance upto value of lights. 9. I think the above plate solutions do look nice. It's pretty tough to see the output quality. I think I'd love a double din setup, I need to buy speackers first lol man that sounds bad.
10. Facelift lights are massively prone to the paint lifting off the inserts. I've never seen a black set of Facelifts that weren't opened. Many people paint the grey black and mask up the chrome plating on the rings to give that `black insert` look.
11. From reading reviews, guides and some other videos. I came across this as a proposal. I've had cheap screens in the car before, it's never worked out well. But is spending more really better? I'm not sure. Thoughts guys? https://www.amazon.co.uk/AUTO-VOX-Digital-Wireless-Reversing-Monitor-CS2/dp/B07HHYMW4K/ref=zg_bs_1342943031_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=9HJV1R3V4C97WKBB9ZG6
12. Evening all, I'm installing a reversing camera on a flip down number plate. I can't make my mind up where to locate a discreet camera that isn't visible, so using the plate. I want the ability to flip the front plate up so thought why not have a pair and use the rear to hold a camera. There wouldn't be much benefit me using to use the plates for avoiding speed cameras, as they won't be many wide supra's the same colour as mine, just in case you wonder if that's why I want them. It would be nice, to avoid cameras, but, much easier to just not drive like an idiot. So, reversing cameras. I'm installing sensors, colour coded and then smoothed so can't see them. Any advice on a camera + screen? The car's going to be an extra 7" wide so I'm hoping it will just be a help. It's been off the road for a while, so I don't want to dent it in the first few months driving it! With the sensors, I may end up not using it very often. Just when it gets tricky. Better safe than sorry. I'm also aiming to install it, to add updated technology into the car. Espcially if my girlfriend borrows it, or my mum! All input welcome
13. Miss your old supra dude or fancy something fresh?
14. Keep the spare wheel just position it in the boot space. It will be where ever you run the wire too. Ensure you secure it safely.

SRD Dyno Room

Looks amazing! Do you do the mapping Lee?
16. I've been advised by whiffin to go s300. I've seen those kind of figures quite often when I look for typical outputs as a comparison. Not too expensive either.
17. Yeah totally understand you're paying per job rather than an actual hourly rate. Was estimated a few days. So not talking an hour or two. I suppose my only concern is things can get out of hand real quick if there's an issue. I'm just curious really. It's always hard to estimate most jobs I know that. But interesting to see the different prices. I'm sure it would be fine. I'm just asking before I dive in.
18. For a well respected and established auto services provider. I'm just shocked how much I've been quoted for some ecu wiring and auto work. I mean I'm sure it would be totally worth it. But I'm just asking for a general idea. I've not had decent auto work engine wise done for a while.

Sole Trader

Use something to track daily spend like QuickBooks. But just keep on top of it daily. Whateber you do. Depending on what you do. It can be a right pain catching up. When I was doing the lights I had a huge amount of tiny purchases and it became a task in itself. I found keeping on top of finances daily saved a huge amount of time. As it was always fresh in my mind and I didn't have to set aside time to figure out the purchases. People always say a good accountant pays for itself. In think that's true. They can do your books for you or most offer training services. If I could turn back the clock I would have gone limited to begin with over some trader. Liability always worried me. Plus easier to offset tax.

Not folding mirrors by any chance?
22. Could you not have someone design the part you need. If the mating parts were designed to work together, it would function. I suppose the challenge is then finding someone qualified for the role and reliable, experienced. CentralScanning have done a lot of my 3D modelling. Highly recommended. Giving a designer these models to then ensure they mate and function mechanical would be a good move. 3.5k for a diff! That's insane! I remember when spending 1k was typical. That's over 10k for a 6speed large diff setup, without a clutch or fitting! Man this Supra market is getting insane.
23. Can they ensure materials are the same? I'd make a spare set and use the new set first. Ensuring you keep the backup rather than have an untested version as the spare. Sounds like a great idea. May even lead to people having option of upgrading.
24. If you want to keep the same gearbox I'd choose a turbo that won't exceed 300hp. Above that you see people pop them. It's difficult to get 300hp due to the typical size of turbo for the supra setup. W58. Turbo. Reliability. Aren't words that are usually expected to have any commonality dude
