OEM is being done to death. You made the right choice.

Morning all, I've had parts for these for a while and have been on and off considering sale of these as I've been thinking to keep them. Still tempted, I won't lie. Had these parts put away for a collectors set I wanted for myself, but seems a shame collecting tons of lights. I don't build sets like this anymore, nor does delined / clear lenses come up. These are a Facelift set, stripped and refurbished. With 6x stainless steel pressed and polished rings fitted. Painted inserts, replaced OEM butyl seal and clear lenses fitted. Black edging painted on the lenses, giving them a nice finishing touch. The clear lenses are bonded, meaning the frames are OEM fitment. While they're not brand new. The rings wont peel. And the lenses are near new condition. There's a few marks, but as mentioned, they aren't a new set that's been modified. But pretty mint, as you'll see in the photos. Refurbs I charge £230, rings are £150, delined lenses (which I don't do anymore) I used to do for £200. I would charge £580 usually to modify lights like this. So in theory, you're getting a set of Facelifts for £120, plus services. But I think it's a bit muggy to charge any more than 700. As they aren't perfect or brand new, though they'll last the test of time with steel rings. Lenses have gone through my trademark polishing process, G3, Autoglym cutting polish, Blackhole glaze and Dodo Wax, inside AND out. Added tons of photos with them off the set, just as it's pretty cool polishing them for hours by hand and seeing the results and thought if I was buying a set, I'd want to see that too. I bubble wrap the lights, box them up. Then bubble wrap the box.. then black wrap the box. Posted, insured. Never had a set of lights I've sent get damaged. Shipped plenty of sets around the UK, some to Italy, Japan, Australia and USA. What do they look like fitted? Thank you to our model of the day, @Delboy52, for providing me some photos of your clean lens steel ring set for examples. As his set, is the same spec. £700.

Surprised no one corrected you. Maybe no one read your posts

Yeah who wants a beeping sensor. Better it stay in an alert state. Then at least you feel cool in a Toyota even though the trans is near death. Agree though be horrible having a BMW feeling when driving a Supra. Don't you own a mkV

That bumper is jokes. Wonder how long before you're painting it again. Did you screw that dash. Or just stick it. If you're bored you could always make a sensor alarm module rather than hope you can watch a gauge while full boosting round corners. Wheels look lovely. Way better than the oem turds.

Very fairly priced. GLWS

Is it 3d printed. Its a rip off if its injection moulded. But if its 3d printed making that a nice finish without paint or prep wouldn't be easy.

Swamps is more than a person. He's a life form. Still under research quantifying what. But at least you've got another notch on your bedpost lad of the objective at hand -

Been following this for years. Looking forward to seeing how the nos affects spool when it's running. -
Savage man. Cool video though.

Unless it makes the bootlid zero I'll probably double the weight when I add in all the insulation anyway lolz
-
Can't wait to add sound proofing to the boot. Never thought about that before. Totally makes sense now though. I'd rather no rattles and a nicer drive than a few grams off the overall weight.

I remember this one. Should have bought it after JP owned it for a bit. Was savage. Cheers buddy

Had the absolute pleasure of a visitor this weekend. Lovely to see you @Delboy52 Your car is a true minter. I just thought I'd share with others as an avid 2jz owner that the sound of a 1uz coming past on full chat is absolutely insane. I think if others heard it they'd be tempted to do a swap! I think everyone on the forum appreciates how mint your car is, I hope others get the chance to hear it. It really does make me jealous with envy mate! Great to see you on the weekend. Be sure to share any videos you ever get. Look forward to hearing that sound again. Is there any other v8s on the forum. In to hear more of those beasts!

I've noticed members published articles can be seen on their profile. Where and how do these get published. I've a CFD analysis report I'd like to share, this might be the right mechanism.

Hi folks, I'm curious if having too high oil pressure, could cause oil (when warm) to be pushed into the combustion chamber past the rings? I need to check the logs, but just wondering peoples thoughts before I get the chance.
