  1. How much was their service?
  2. Thanks mate, I've just sent them the full email with the spec. Thank you
  3. Yeah sorry, I don't reply to PM's that much.
  4. Thanks buddy. I've sent him a PM, just to see what the situ is. Going to email all the other companies now, see what they say. I'll leave A.Flux, to see Jim's response. At 33, with over 18 years combined no claims on two policies and owning the car since 2010, with over 400hp for many years, you'd think they would have at least given me a price. Very disappointing especially as a forum sponsor.
  5. Due to having had the car off the road for a while, they said 600hp is too much to jump into. Want at least 1-year experience on the road at that kind of power level. How do you get experience if they don't insure? Any other companies to try? My current list of companies I'm going to approach next! Sky - Rung them back today, won't insure 600hp with less than 1 years road experience LV Classics - Emailed 12th July. Want me to call back, 15th July. Lancaster - Emailed 12th July Lynbrook - Emailed 12th July Aplan - Emailed 12th July [-]Footman James[-] - Emailed 12th July. Responed today, 15th July. Sadly, don't insure my kind of request. Adrian Flux - Waiting jimjam92 response on contact Higos (LWIB) - Emailed 12th July. Tried calling me today 15th July, will give them a call back tomorrow as they left a nice text. Performance Direct - Emailed 12th July Competition Car Insurance - Website seems down, managed to find a phone number and also an email, sent email 12th July, will call next week Classicline Insurance - Emailed 12th July. Responded today! Cheapest yet. £493. Includes legal cover, but is not agreed valuation. Devitt HIC Insurance Brent Ater Reis Motorsport Insurance - Completed basic form on their website, will update them with technical information on response. Guys were MEGA professional and helpful. £570 with £30k agreed value and only charge £60 for including track days. Really felt looked after with these guys. Waiting to hear back on the possibility for pre-spool nitrous as an addition. Swinton - Will call when office hours open for contact email Keith Michaels PLC - Emailed 12th July RH Specialist Insurance - Not called, as so many others to deal with currently. Carole Nash - Called them 12th July, gave me a referral email due to the number of modifications - going to call me back Monday! Complete Car Cover - Rung them, told me to do a quote online then ring them back with a ref no. When f the website told me any more than 5 modifications I need to call them to discuss. Rung back and given a direct email to a polite gentleman who's going to review and ring back tomorrow morning.
  6. Why use oem bolts for a restoration project. I think there's original and there's just a bit too original. I don't think you'll save yourself any investment using old bolts and nuts.
  7. On all their way. Sorry for any delays
  8. Any condition Thanks
  9. I think the HKS 272 clearance is okay. https://www.suprastore.com/camshafts.html I'd like cams. But am waiting to see what my power band is like and spool. I think I'd like them purely for the sound lol..
  10. Why would people do that.. Just beyond my understanding
  11. Sorry to hear of the bad news. But could have been a lot worst. What ecu you going to run. Don't jump to vvti coils until I've had whifbitz trial the new coil on plug setup. Cheaper and easier to tune than the vvti waste spark. Bhp goals? I was going to swap the rods and call it a day on components. Just bearings and bolts. Why the pistons? We're you stock compression? TT gasket is an easy shout. Mine went on a treat. Hopefully good for the 600 club now.
  12. Would it be possible to install a cam/hall sensor into a cover. Rather than having to weld the head or use a GTE/GE VVTi head. I'm currently NAt. Running dizzy. Would be a nice easy weld mod to enable using different cams. Especially as I'm moving to coils anyway. But still retain the sensor currently. Surely could get the sensor close enough?
  13. Audi interior would be my choice. However the mkv though I've not compared the z4, does have nice parts. Inspiring components really. My interior is still in bits. Oh to have nothing more to worry about than trimming
  14. True! Love a wide arch kit! Do you ever think of yours mate? I thought the same. RX7 definitely a similar influence. I think the vents were more of a sticky plaster to tease after market add ons. But agree. They do look a bit budget.
  15. Sporting multiple variations at a 2JZ power planted drift car, the Supra Mkv made a good appearance. LED's in the door handles, similar to what I've just installed on my own, be great to see these are night time! Loving the new Logo. Would nice on the Mkiv. Interior is gorgeous, just ignore the BMW gearstick, which reminds you of the originated technology of some of the car. I'm still a believer, that Toyota will begin making the 2JZ once again and it will become an option for aftermarket perhaps for a swap kit. Wasn't overly keen on the GT4 version. It looks cool, no idea how it sounds though and the spoiler seems a bit rough and ready. I've seen some quality BGW on Mkiv's. I love the front splitter. I just think the standard interior and drift car were too nice for this race prepared version to win me over in anyway. https://www.caradvice.com.au/771914/toyota-supra-gt4-revealed/ Also got to watch one up the track. I did video it. It sounded so quiet, it may have been electric!
  16. Can anyone recommend alternators? Some seem really expensive. Just wondering what the price tag is for. Are refurbished ones off eBay worth considering? I think mine's on the way out.
  17. Lovely feature with an epic review mate. Well done you!
  18. Good to hear. Where you going mate.
  19. Yeah totally agree with Shane. Open it up. See if anything in bulging like the caps but also look for hot spots or black marks where something has failed.
  20. You can't use an afr controller to resolve your fueling issue for an NAt setup. You need it mapped. That's why no one is recommending one mate. Turbo installation isn't just about the afr number. It's about the rev range variation of afr and timing. Honestly mate lol you can't use an afr controller to resolve fuelling issue you need it mapped.
  21. It needs a professional base map to limp it from one location to another. My advice is disconnect the intercooler pipe from the turbo and throw on an air filter onto the intercooler pipework. So you just air filter into the cooler and bypass the turbo. It'll run like an NA and is low risk. Problem solved. Do not drive the car with turbo connected. Run it like an NA then just connect pipework when you get to mapping location. Intercooler only will be safe. Turbo can not be connected for any reason. Unless you like danger and explosions lol. If it's 16 AFR then try upping the fuel pressure. If you don't have a regulator. Nows a good time to buy one. If that doesn't solve the lean issue with no boost. You have another issue that is non NAt conversion related. Any AFR controller is just a plaster to avoid proper mapping.
  22. Car looks awesome. Really top work there
  23. Noz
