  1. I'd update your thread title to make it a bit more generic.
  2. Must have some serious rear wheel spacing going on there
  3. Done a lovely job on the lights. GLWS
  4. If people aren't so willing to sell, the inflated prices will have to stick around. It's similar to rising house prices, it's fine if you don't sell, or want to sell, but for anyone wanting to jump in or someone wanting a second Surpa, it makes it harder. Swings and round a abouts. I've seen LOADS of Supra pop up for sale since the SupraBoom. Low posting members. Just goes to show, those old hidden away members have been turned by the income the S-Boom has created.
  5. If everyone raises the prices and people pay those prices. It will continue to forever rise. I think only when they stop selling will the prices stop going up. There is also the other viewpoint that our cars have been under valued for quite some time. So the increasea are more of an adjustment. That would be nice to consider.

    Improving traction

Third lol omg. Making my panic now. 420g? What hp are.ypu. I've read third hars shifting skills them commonly. I'm hoping it lasts until I can save for a 6speed T56 conversion. I'm hoping to sell the R154 and dive straight into the T56 and decide or find a bigger rear diff.

    Improving traction

I'd be interested to see how it handled against a typical A01B. You selling it? I might want a spare. I blew my A01A. I plan go collect a few trans and diffs as spares. Maybe. Have yet to see the final dyno but so far the turbo isnt coming on as hard as I expected. Will have to see how it drives. Going to take little while just to be used to power again. I hope not mate! Also hope it doesn't contribute to a new gearbox being needed. R154 wasnt planned on being a consumable Theres a bit of wiring to do I thought. Personally I'd sell it if you dont have issues. What hp you running? I'm only interested to see how people deal with it. I see these expensive diffs and wonder if theres really the hype.
  8. Boot rust is a common one. But the most uncommon issue no resolved is yellow headlights. Rusting fuel tank hangers are a dodgy one. As all hidden away. Worth checking and cleaning up. Mine was a tight state.
  9. Hi all. I dont have traction control. I dont have the car back yet but I'm curious to what options I have as usually syvecs would have traction control setup. I used to spin at 420hp when the single kicked in, with lower gears. I have an NA lsd and 345 tyres. Aside from setting up suspension correctly. What other options do I have to improve traction. Running michilen pilot sports. I've been looking at speed sensors and all sorts of abs installs. But I'm now thinking maybe investing in a better diff would be the option. Of course this would improve traction potential but not reduce engine power to allow for hook. Aiming for 600hp. Thoughts welcome.
  10. Links broken. Cool if it uses oem cap!
  11. This is the one I bought. I'm not sure what your budget is. Mine wasn't huge. Here's an example of where I located it. I don't have any final photos of it fitted; engine work still being done. But it looks nice! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223433795490?ul_noapp=true
  12. Most have a little plug. You dont need to replicate the camp it's unlikely you'll find one that copies it. But many work in a similar fashion.
  13. Lights look loads better mate. G3. Autoglym resin. Poor boy black hole and some wax is the way I would recommend. Get some cheap foam pads and a drill attachment. You'll be surprised the improvement.
  14. I have one set of pre facelift rings for sale. Parts ready to ship.
  15. A good engine tuner is like a heart surgeon. The specialist doesn't get into town for a few weeks but my mate Dave said there's a banging vet round the corner lol Choose your surgeon wisely if you care for your heart!
  16. I'm a 3 hour drive as well. I'd drive 10 hours if it meant the car was done spot on. I had a 4 hour train journey to whifbitz first time I collected car when he was in Enfield. The cost of the travel is cheap compared to the priceless value of getting it setup right. Imagine going somewhere local and it costing a fortune if not setup right.
  17. +1 for whitbiz. Hes looked after me really well. I'd let him set it up. Hes got a wealth of experience.
  18. I bet that was a scary fire up lol
  19. Amazing coverage of photos. Lovely car. GLWS
  20. What size lines you at pal. I've an6 currently. Single line. I'll have to see what Paul says when he maps in 10 days. I did have an online 044. But probably best to just go brand new 450. Which is what I think he'll propose. What's ethanol give you?
  21. I hope my pump doesn't stop at 520 also. I'm nearly at that already. But being at Whifbitz at least he should have something to hand for 600. - - - Updated - - - Estimated big single hp? - - - Updated - - - What hp you at dude
  22. What power you going for? How you going to run the fuel hanger.
  23. What hp you running? I'm sure I saw someone running a 900 flywheel setup.
  24. I would like traction control. But I don't have ABS. I've been looking at new types of sensors. Is the Supra ABS system, using a passive sensor? I think it is. I'm tempted to try and make a retrofit kit for the output of the sensor, for the Syvecs to pick up. Suppose you'd only need to replicate the sensor signal as per the original and it would validate as a replacement also.
