  1. Think it depends what car you own. Anyone owning a UK TT6 it might be easy and not worth it. Market matching their expectations. For some of us originally NA. Bit more of a justification on our hands. Espcially for us who ask and got £30k or over. Lot of cash for a GE engine without a 6 speed box attached.
  2. Always go agreed value. Just go elsewhere. I spoke to over ten companies. Some wouldn't even insure it due to the power. 30k agreed. 5k miles per year. Speak to at least ten companies..
  3. It means he agrees with the quoted post mate. Whifbitz arent the cheapest. But does it matter if it's done right mate. I don't think youd see a huge difference between the most commonly used tuners for the supra in the UK. Would you want the cheapest surgeon to do your heart surgery?
  4. Whifbitz took care of me. Wouldnt recommend anyone else as I'd just be a parrot of what the forum trolls do. But I've many of maps done by whifbitz and my positive experience can be shared. Maybe others who have EXPERIENCE and not just read a few names could chip in. I would however advise choosing your "mapper" on experience and recommendations rather than location. If your engine failed you would have wished youd travelled the extra distance.
  5. It's a cap on the rear of the headlight for the fog bulb to pass through. Its more of a cap than a ring. The fog light bulb wiring as you can see goes through it. He is asking if you provide the caps that have said wiring for the bulb. PreFacelift also have the wiring for the sidelight. As they feed to a three pin connector. Because people disconnect these and leave them on the car. Lights typically dont have them. He should have some on the set on his car. Therefore its uncommon to find lights with the fog caps on. I did toy with making replacements. To allow for fog bulb upgrades as some fogs extend pass the geometry of where the fog cap sits. Anyway I'm going off topic lol but now you know.

    UK or J spec?

I prefer jspec facelift. It just looks so nice and still modern today. The uk scoop typical interior and washer jets just look a bit dated. For the extra cost. It seems a bit of a collector's marmite decision.
  7. Fogs are no different facelift or pre. Going to need more detail and also why you're asking may help. Fog rings is not anything I've heard of.
  8. Lovely look supra. Diffuser looks sweet and interior is well done!

    Mirrors

I've a set. Do you want a part number? Not sure what their worth either mate.
  10. I better warn him to take them down Using your photos ruined my business lol
  11. Any excuse to get a car mention in there lol loving your car photo!
  12. HSDs are hard. I'd not use them again.
  13. I'd buy a new filter personally
  14. R154 I can confirm is nice. It's a bit clunky however. Considering rebuilding mine. Always the worry not to trash it though.
  15. If I was auto. I'd consider the DSG system whifbitz provide.
  16. As everyone mentions. If it isnt totally stock. Then you'll loose nothing. Just dont make the car undesirable. Dont make it different for the sake of it and you'll be fine man. Some weird ass marmite colour may cause you issues if you ever choose to sell.
  17. Yeah because steel just blows up doesnt it Adam lol sorry to lose you a sale. Non of my 'Chinese' steel has failed. Had it 7 years. Seven Adam. Can you count that high. Jesus. You're still a total idiot. I used to complete failure test on mechanical stress for materials for oil and gas products when I was a R&D engineer so please dont try and bullsh1t me, with material analysis or some nonsense about materials. It may be lower grade but it doesnt flow any better because it's got a logo on it. I've seen precision turbos fail within a year. My old ebay t61 lasted 4 years. I upgraded because I could afford too. Stop giving people opinions. If you dont have experience with both sides of the discussion stop trying to be an expert all the time. I've known A LOT of cheap ebay manifolds set ups perform well. Being such the toff you are you probably dont hang with those kind of people. God you just boil my internal water. Such an annoying little ####. I'll reiterate again. If you dont have ACTUAL experience of both sides..then just stop making yourself look an idiot.
  18. I'd buy the steel parts cheap. Ebay. Itll need modifying to fit your exhaust anyway. And buy important stuff brand new. Turbo. Wastegate. Best way to save money. If how I done it. Easy peasy. Imagine buying a second hand kit. Then the turbo went.. or the wastegate didnt open properly and pop.. engine goes. Man youd be proper gutted. Whifbitz sell BW turbos really fairly priced. Less than a grand net you a 62mm that can do 600. I bought an Ebay manifold. Braced it. Modified it for vband Watergate. Got a 60mm turbosmart wastegate. Sees 603hp all day long my man. Not bad for manifold that cost me pennies. Honestly man. Dont fork out for a 'kit'. Source your own parts. Second hand steel fabricated parts with a name tag get sold for far too much in my opinion these days.
  19. Absolutely love his videos. Top effort.
  20. Nice to see you back here and enjoying cars still buddy.
