  1. Love a decent sound deadening project. I'm so keen to do this to mine.
  2. Nice bracket for the res. What you using for the PAS? I used a TT res didn't think there was another option really bud. - - - Updated - - - And how's the sound deadening inside?
  3. Does the cd009 box straight up then? Or do you need an auto bellhousing for that box.
  4. R154 see 700hp all day long? People have 1000hp in them. They don't drag race with them. Thats a bit of an unfair comment on someone's advert given the historic proven strength of these transmissions. I've an R154 and anyone wanting to own a car with 700hp shouldn't be afraid of transmission being an issue. I've seen countless high power builds using them. Nothings invincible but judging a box because its an R154 is inaccurate. Just my two pence. Its hassle but the general opinion will always be swap the bottom end. Even if you run it at less power for sale. GLWS, this is a lovely car.
  5. I've sent loads of peeps to Reis. They've all been super happy.
  6. Stick with the dizzy sensor. Keeps it easy and no need to source old 7mgte parts. Which could fail
  7. Good of them to replace it. Definitely sink or shrinkage in the material. Maybe an imperfection in the resin.
  8. looks too high as well as over to the drivers side. Check the front of the headlight. Should be much closer than that. Also looks to be zero movement on the wing. Can see how snug it is again edge of the light there on the top it the rubber radius. I've had bonnet issues before. Does the other side have a unusually tight gap to the wing?
  9. He may need a joiner anyway. Depending how its piped welding then together may not be an option. Might make it unable to come off the car if he creates a loop. Always opt to weld over silicone. For this instance. I would use a piece of pipe and two separate joiners. Yes its a pain in the ass to get two silicone pieces and a bead on the lips. Silicone may be able to take the pressure of the internal boost. But that angle may cause the silicone to deform to a shape that restricts flow. Conclusion. If you cant weld it. Add a piece of pipe!
  10. Its worth stripping it down before you sell it. If its just a bearing that's failed and not had total material failure it might be a salvage job and not be a total right off (financially when you sell it)
  11. Sorry to read the sad news. Can you check the ecu logs to see if its picked up anything out of place.
  12. Awesome work. Mentioned before how much i like the small details. Lovely work on the skirt around vent.
  13. Answering if its 1000hp or not to random people who always ask you
  14. Awesome looking wheels. Seriously decent set there
  15. Remember seeing it for sale. A dream model that one.
  16. Always wanted an IS F. The blue they do them in is amazing. Especially with the white interior.
  17. I remember when you joined big G. I still see you as a newbie but suppose that isn't the case now. Remember your constant ramblings lol so random. And still.. random
  18. Whifbitz has my vote too. But explain your situation. Id be willing to offer a little more for short notice. Most people in the trade are booked for months at a time.
  19. Codes are a good shout to be fair.
  20. Save and get ccw man. Its 1k towards your goal set! Worth the wait. Took me years to get my dream wedz. Worth the wait man.
  21. I know this is a random question. But does anyone know what compression ratio jazz ran on his stroker?
  22. If your engine blows up. You won't worry about the distance needed to find a supra specialist mate. Whifbitz have always pulled through for me and recently looked after people who ive sent there. I know others just take forever to quote or ignore you completely. You own a supra. A proper boost setup is pennies in comparison. Its not like we are talking a cheap car. Honestly best thing you can do is sort that out man. Good luck.
  23. Thats a really, really long sentence. You shouldn't have both. You have a pressure regulator valve to regulate pressure. You dont need two though. Its a finite pressure. A little screw is just considered a non calibrated method of trying to control the pressure. You cant quantify a half turn to add however many PSI.
  24. I'm with you on that. Lol..
