i have a mate who just bought an st185 and claims BHP with no dyno, dont understand why people do it. i have a cat back 2.5" exhaust and panel filter and have never claimed anything but the standard bhp which always decreases after time anyway? i have a mate with an MX5 who changed his HT leads, upgraded spark plugs, and MOTORWORLD air filter claimed extra bhp once he got it dyno'ed it was MUCH LESS than stock lol classic!!!

didnt you say funds was an issue? lol? a cheap na t kit cant compare with selling an NA and buying a SINGLE turbo 500hp have you seen how badly the NA's are selling at the moment? 80K auto na 2.5k is quite common. doesnt this whole thing depend on total money spent. ive an NA and want to turbo it. I got her cheap for 55k miles and her condition and dont think the money spent going turbo will be more than a manual TT. what if, the cost of the whifbitz kit FITTED + cost of supra is LESS than a manual single TT (same condition ish), wouldnt it be worth it? obviously your have a bit less power in the NA but even if your pushing TT power with the NA its def gonna be cheaper. i could easy spend 5k on my NA and nearly push TT power with the whifbitz kit and that would be cheaper than paying out 10k for a good condition TT!!

Bran new never used. For 52mm Gauges. Just haven't got around to fitting it and seems a waste to leave it lying around. £10 posted.

im looking at turbo's to begin my NA-T journey and its definitely not a cheap option!! XS do a cheap kit with a `cheaper` turbo which is around 1400 quid and then you just need ECU which is as costly as you want. cheap route which has been tried AND tested is the XS kit with greddy emanage ultimate. kit is around $1600 http://www.suprastore.com/tosusitukit1.html seen emange ultimate for around 350 but then u need sensors etc and tuning. the kit is apparently LAGGY due to T61 being to big on dropped compression. ur dont have to change head gasket but my tuner said its worth doing. i saw a youtube video on a standard supra na vs standard na with bigger headgasket and wasnt a huge drop in power so worth doing. if u go the cheap route ur looking at 3.5k for parts and fitting, thats with cheap turbo and if you have no problems with labour which you always need to have finances just in case. tried and testing kits but for how long :-O be better to get a decent turbo and put the kit together yourself, try and get a decent manifold as well as cheap'o ones won't last!

but is it? have you ever seen an NA dyno after using bigger injectors? how do you know its pointless. honda's use bigger injectors and get more hp without adding a turbo?
