when i bought my car i travelled from milton keynes to devon, i managed 31 mpg on the motorway at a constant 60mph. but then that was ALOT of constant driving as i was expecting the fuel to be worse. a good exhaust and decat will let the engine pick up better. i always felt around 4k rpm it started to pick up, now with a 2.5" exhaust and 3" decat the engine feels much smoother. if you want power then NA-T is an expensive way to go. TT engine swap is probably cheaper. but then its down to personal choice. im going NA-T

ive a friend who is an MOT tester and he has a celica that has yellow tyres due to discolouration as the car was left in a garage and the tyres are WAY old. he passed the tyres due to them not having any damage. just check for cracking. i wouldnt think 2 year old tyres would be a problem, it would depend more on their condition. you shud get a pretty good idea through photos i reckon.

i love my NA :-) i love it even more now ive started buying bits for a turbo . . . . if ur on a budget tho, it allows a wider range of people to afford such treats.

to be fair if you want to buy one then go for it. they are high cost to run but you will find a way to pay for things if you love having a supra as much as most of us here. cheap turbo kits are improving on quality and more and more people are saying they have fewer problems, but its still considered a custom conversion and there will always be niggles like something not fitting perfect with any custom job. depending on the cost of the car, if you have a friendly mechanic you can buy and turbo an NA for good condition TT, but it isnt proven to be as reliable as it normally isnt. but then it comes down to cost, if you save for a TT then you have that period of time waiting to drive it, if you think your be happy with the NA speed you can always save while you have a supra. if its going to take an extra year to save money for the difference of a TT rather than an NA, would you rather drive a NA and turbo it down the road, even if the total cost comes to having a TT. id rather have a year of driving plus most NA-T's are rated higher bhp than some stock TT's. but then you have a different gear box ! i know when i go NA-T i'l always want a 6speed instead of 5, just something il have to live with. supercharging ISNT easy, and its uncommon so there isnt a huge amount of info on it. but saying that, a supercharged supra is DAM friggin awesome

ive got the C west bumper and ive lowered my supra alot and i still managed to get over bumps and it still looks really low

if the cars lowered you should be able to get some pretty wide rear 19's. but like bodilx6 said ive seen so many people comment of a lack of performance with them. you can get rear wider 18's (saw some stupidly wide custom made) but at the end of the day it will ruin handling unless you need extra grip due to huge amounts of power. the width of your wheel should reflect the power of your car unless you just want to show it in which case performance considerations goes out the window.

removing your rear sounds wont make much of a difference. if you go over bumps and it stops rubbing due to less weight, it will only bottom out over a larger bump somewhere down the road.

il just follow the crowd at the end of the day im just surprised its such an early start im hardcore enough il have a biiiiig coffee first

4am seems a bit mental. i think 6am wud saffice to miss the traffic. its not like we're doing 50mph. traffic will be low early enough to cover good ground. might miss the que but then uve gotta wait around for all the cars to arrive. id rather sit in a que and know when i get there ive something to look at

hey all. wondering about this ebay item. NORMALLY its 350 quid, for some reason its a billion pounds. my question, is that the item is sooo cheap is there anyway it could be a copy? currently the price for this particular item is wrongly listed but its never above 400 (normally), most retailers sell Ultimate for 500-600? when the price is corrected im hoping to purchase this so any opinions would be welcome. thanks!
