My power aim was 400bhp. I've collected the turbo kit together, manifold etc. Ultimate E Manage arrived yesterday. Spoke to Paul he reckons the BW S362 billet should a decent turbo to use for most NA-T set ups. lower compression by TT gasket (9.2:1), i know pistons is the better way to do this due to chamber shape but this is something i can do if i want to increase again (pistons isntead of TT HG not both, CR will be low i beleive?). ive yet to acquire an afc but this is on the shopping list.
waiting on a quote for a set of 550cc's and il have to find a pump when they arrive (heard the bosch 044 was better than walbro 255 this is yet to be decided).
Ive also aquired a set of stock NA cams and were going to send them to TTC performance in america to have them made into a set of 268's, trying to get hold of chris wilson so see if he can use his cam inspection equipment to check they are ok before using them. seen good responses from other people using them but thought best to get them checked before installation.
i know a reliable turbo install will get me just over 300 mark, im just trying to consider my options to make sure i definitely go over 400. im unsure of PSI values and so many people have varying results. ive 5,8 and 12 psi springs and was going to wait till installing to decide which one was best. im assuming i was going to use the 8 and use a boost controller to adjust it from there.
ive seen alot of NA-T's running throttle bodies and wondered if it was a required as i see it so often?
thanks for your help
