  1. Looking to upgrade my cam shafts, so the search is on for some 2JZ adjustable cam gears. I know the only different between the NA and TT cam shafts are the dizzy gear due to people swapping to coils and using the same shafts, but are the gears different? Thanks in advance.
  2. what turbo intake pipe is that mate
  3. Pics dude? Had an email from supplier. 16GBP + 1.50GBP postage. Wants 10 buyers. Please update your name to confirm you want these: 1. Supraudi 2. *Shane* 3.aman00123 4.Bobapple 5. Noz Asked Homer for confirmation about starting a GB thread.
  4. nice side repeaters, not often seen darks ones, go really well! any future plans?
  5. checking thier still for sale thats all
  6. would be interested in these mate in about a month~? waiting on funds if you still have them?
  7. 700hp is huge for an na but not un reachable. anything above 400 is serious work. im aiming for 400 and thats a worry on my transmission already. 700 on an na will not run on stock transmission unless v160. get a tt and just have an uprated clutch and all ur transmission woes will be gone. if u can live with 400 go na t, its fun making your own motor. xs power parts havr had some good response lately, their turbos arent much good or oil lines but all the recent buyers ive seen havent had any problems and thats a few K miles. get a piggy back at least if u do, just an AFC is cutting corners, electronics keep ur engine alive.
  8. dont get an na unless ur prepared to spend out the same as a tt. u clearly want a turbo and was the same when i was looking, now i dont want to part with mine so im in catch 22. in my opinion, if u want a manual, buy a manual. but at least try an auto, but dont buy one as you have money burning a hole in your pocket and dont want to wait. i wish id bought a tt once you own a supra you find you want a new everything and money fora conversion wont appear so available.
  9. so by using an auto lsd u change the point the gearbox is having strain put on it? how easy is it to fit a tt auto lsd, na's dont even have one do they?
  10. so a UK set up would be preferred to a ksport set up even though the diameter of the discs would be bigger and more pot per caliper?

    2JZGE Spark Gap

looking at that thread it lists the spark plugs to be used in the NA. the current plugs i have (ordered for the jza80 NA) are BPR6EIX and currently arent listed on this thread, are they still ok to use?
  12. In my opinion its going to depend on what transmission you have. Unless you swap that as well, as auto NA won't like BPU power - 400bhp ish. im manual and im going through the stages of NA-T shopping list and to be fair, it probably would have cost the same amount of money to swap to a TT engine. if you want 320bhp go NA-T, if you want 400 you'd probably be best to swap and it will end up costing the same amount of money. You need to give yourself a power goal, this will depend on what transmission you have though. some people have had higher power on stock NA transmission but this is what i found recommending power levels: http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/techo.htm Go to the section automatic tt gearbox spec W58 5 speed manual in the n/a is good for 260 rwkw, Auto in the n/a 200 rwkw Gertrag 6 speed 600 rwkw Auto in a tt 350 rwkw 1hp = 0.735kw so..... 1kw = 1.341hp (ish) so we convert and we get: w58 348hp na auto 270hp gettrag 804hp auto tt 470hp Ive seen LOADS of cars push these figures and have NO issues but its just an idea of how far your pushing your box. These aren't figures set in stone just some info I found on another forum. Thought it may give you idea.
  13. in that case next year everyone should drive past waving
  14. hoping to change the plugs on my NA next few days had some sexy iridium's arrive, cant find spark gap anywhere? they might come pre set but Id rather double check it. tried searching online, the forum and even on the cd manual i have, no luck! found gap dimensions for going NA-T but thats too small thanks in advance.
  15. what was wile e thinking! he may have doomed us all
  16. im assuming u mean supraforums, which others had interest il have a look.
  17. 1. Supraudi 2. *Shane* 3.aman00123 4.Bobapple 5. Noz I've emailed the manufacture informing them we would like to organise a group buy and asking how many members would be required for a bulk discount etc. I have let him know we have 5 confirmed buyers and others are interested but not as yet confirmed. Please add your name to the list if you are serious about joining a group buy. Until numbers required for a GB / bulk discount is known we should keep this thread here. When I get a confirmation I'll start up a GB thread in the for sale section.
  18. 30 aches dude thats awesome. mr j.clarkson owns a farm some how cars and farm life seem to link together well what do you run on your farm?
  19. im unsure which set mine are, il need to check. would the ksport 330mm 8 pots be that much better than the large 4 pot 323mm? only 7mm extra width, i know there are another 4 pots in the caliper would this make a big difference?
  20. Aww man Im jealous. Having your own farm must be awesome, hard work but awesome. 'I' work in an engineering company, shift works allows you to drive around normal times of the day which is good as less traffic. Where is `your` farm to?
  21. This is probably a well known fact, but still id like to ask.. I only hear people talk about the jspec or UK spec brakes, so am I correct in assuming the jspec NA and TT have the same brake set up? Hope this isnt a `dumb` question. Thanks
