The GTE pistons have a dish on them, the GE pistons dont. they are made from the same material with the same manufacturing method. If you have a GE with a TT HG, the CR drops to 9.2, using TT pistons and a GE HG the compression drops to 9.1. Using BOTH it drops to 8.5 which is the GTE oem CR i beleive? I could be 0.1 out on one of those, but the CR are only slightly different either way.

Which headlight bulbs for JSpec and UK Spec?

the JSpec lights have HB3 for headlight and HB3 for dipped beam, and H3 for fog lights. i have the email address for the supplier for the groupbuy on here, he sells all the kits for 50gbp posted and a 1yr warrenty on all parts full replacement -
I dont want anything blingy.... as he puts his name down to order some alloy knobs... lol

Being less than a mm thicker than stock its gonna be the slight edge rather than a rounded edge that makes them look bigger I reckon. Still look sa'weet

I think its just the fact the curves on the outer edge of the knobs are not as rounded giving them illusion of being bigger. The standard knobs having a larger fillet on the edge. Maybe Raven could measure the dimensions to re assure people?

Having 2 ct12's wudnt be an advantage to just going single on a GE, na-t manifolds are pre-fabricated and you could achieve the same horsepower with less cost. Probably be better to hybrid the turbo's (if in good condition) and sell them on.

these were the side skirts i saw mate this is why i thought it was carbon wrap: ebay ridex skirts ^^^ obviously fiberglass copies. have you got the skirts painted yet? was sure i heard darren talking about the awkwardness of wrapping skirts. maybe was something else. id love to come see the archs, after na-t. you got wide ass wheels for the rear then? just talking about those archs gets me excited where you located to?

From the pics is just looks like they attach to where OEM side skirts are anyway, I know the bottom peice comes out lower but I wasn't aware that the arch uses the lower section of the skirt. Not that I'll mind as I wanted to get the side skirts before hand. They list as carbon lowers, they are just fiberglass with carbon wrap aren't they? :S

I love the ridex kit, am considering getting some of those luurvely rear aches mmmmmmmm. Was there such a thing as a ridex spoiler? Maybe worth a look.

Sounds good, im always unsure what to do about my dash and im still undecied. Colour coded dash's are always a bit marmite. Get some pics of your dash when you get it wrapped, be good to see the results!

The cams are supposed to be 268 duration, apart from being able to measure the duration reference what other bonus would I have sending them to kent cams rather than yourself? Is the duration reference very important?

Ok no worries. Ive emailed kent cams about some re grinds they were speedy to reply. So I assume with re-welds im checking for shaft distortion, and just anything not conforming to a balanced shaft?

Thanks Chris. Tried emailing you while back as well about getting some cams checked over after getting them sent over to TTC? No reply? Do you have equipment to check cams im sure i remember you talking about such a thing.
