  1. mate is your tension set steel or alloy? it really sets it off well.
  2. always gotta be you to disagree with me not been the first time MR! dont get me wrong i like people admiring my car, but what i meant is i didnt buy it for that
  3. people are just jealous. ive had people say the same to me. you dont buy a car to modify it unless you love it. i saw a woman in a 2 seater merc the other day, she clearly had bought it as she thought she looks the muts nuts, supra's just aren't like that, people genuinely love driving them for the feeling they get not the cool points you get for having a moooo'sive spoiler. people without supra's dont understand this!!!
  4. flywheel lightening is the first option and the easiest. buy part, swap out for a few hours. OR another cost free option - strip weight.
  5. ooooOOOOoooo. now thats swish! whats it made from. 2mm sheet?
  6. your car is lowered mate. looks even more low on the archs are your running 19"'s. my exhaust rubs when i go over bumps, does the stratch have an ehco'y sound?/ almost like a ting than a stratch? have a peek at your suspension. see what colour is it.
  7. i have a large 12" sub box. all i had to modify was the `pointless` L shape peice of plastic that sits on the rear middle speaker. i removed these bits, and sat the sub on the middle speaker (just to fit it in). had to drill a hole into the plastic base in the boot and thru the edges of the sub box. its close to the window, but fits!! get some dimensions, il go measure mine in a bit mate? had to remove carpet as well for mine, its pretty thick!
  8. thats a minter!! are u going to leave induction kit or go airbox?
  9. Contacted supplier, he is sending me a few more (he had spares). Surprised this is so popular
  10. include photos of the connectors, then i can drill the holes. im still pondering how to hold the pod up while you silicon the back of it to support it :S i have the same problem with mine, hmmmmm!
  11. thanks mate. appreciate nice comments from everyone.
  12. theres always confusion with what i say mate, my brain isnt working very well at the moment. lets just have a group hug and forget about whatever nonsense i was going on about?
  13. ok mate no worries. have you checked your build thread. updated some photos.
  14. Been a bit of interest with these. I've sold the one I had, and am waiting for a couple more to arrive. Supplier is selling his current stock (other car items) and going through other people to distribute as has had issues dealing with single customers. I've bought a selection of items including some Supra logo's for some custom work I'm doing for my own car. These are left over. Footrest: £20 delivered. They haven't arrived `yet` but just been in contact and they have been made today. As soon as these arrive I'll send them out. Can supply photos before payment to ensure they are happy with item before shipping. I have 2 remaining. As soon as they arrive I will post them out. Gauging buyers to speed up process. Thanks.
  15. sweet soarer air box. ive seen the carbon air boxes before, i had some input in possibly making one. the design would be fun, but making it from carbon would be a right pita. i think making an airbox that would run an external cold air feed would be the best thing to do, as anyone can get a trumpet and ducting, where as making it designed for a mainbeam-less light or induction headlight replacement might limit who would want it. opinions?
  16. That would be perfect for a lamp without main beam. Would save loads of time making the rear of the air box. Would require a different design for stock headlights, and maybe a different design for a trumpet cold feed intake for a third input into the air box. I think they would have to be made to order, stock lights, aftermarket cold air feed etc, or even induction headlight.
  17. A custom air box :O that would be the nuts. Have you got any pics of custom air boxes? This could be my next project?
  18. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm thats a bummer, what about using over sized bolts, they might thread into the hole and not give the harsh effects of a self tapper but might just allow you to sit the archs to check?
