  10. he will be acquiring a turbo for me so need to help him out where i can
  11. turbo with new ECU your looking at 340-380 depending on parts and mapper. you shouldnt use bigger injectors without a remap, shouldnt even start the car with injectors oversize IMO (though better to over fuel than under fuel). you WILL require a re-map with bigger injectors, but with a turbo your going to need a map anyway so get it done all together. stock injectors duty cycle is actually 380cc (been tested) but anything over aounr 7-8psi you will require some. you do not have to lower compression unless you start getting into seriously high BHP figures, at which point its a must. With a good tune, 10psi would be MAX on stock internals / ratio. this would also depend on other factors, engine condition, mapping etc etc. turbo with 5psi without a piggy back ECU (or map with ECU) just isnt good practice. you wont find many sources of information on gains as the cost to do the install just isnt worth the gain. get it mapped and your looking at well over 50% of your original BHP so its not worth the risk. plus, ECU not seeing a turbo may underfuel, which can lead to your wallet becoming very empty with a new engine. do your research on components required, get a basic set up, then improve from there. research -> parts -> installation -> mapping -> improvements you can always upgrade afterwards. you dont need to buy the best of everything. im buying a lower class turbo before i spend over 1k, some parts you DO need to spend money on, a good ECU.. the rest you need to learn clubna-t is a good source for information.
  12. I've just texted Craig to stop him from removing them to try this new fault find.
  13. Scott your well too cool for a scooby, couldn't he see that? What an idiot! I had a ticket once at my old college, with the Supra badge QUITE visable, it was `Black Subaru`, saved my ass a ticket! Don't wish everyone to be as super clever as the forum members, one day it can save you money.
  14. im a HUGE fan of custom made stuff, and this is no exception. A Class design, with any further improvements you aim to have a seriously decent component there. I expect this would be wanted by suppliers websites as it's going to be a hit with the supra community. Any chance of some progression photos during the build of the spoiler?
  15. Yes ive been spotted. Twice in fact. As I was pondering over the bridge, minding my own business, I noticed some one peeking over the top of his steering wheel, looking at me like a peice of $%'#, i wondered to myself, why life situations could make such an attractive man so unhappy. If he was uber cool Scott M he def would of been smiling. Anyway, at this point, I felt myself rather uncomfortable, I thought, maybe this anger is directed at me, whave have I do, quickly checking my road positioning, to my surprise, this was ok, and my lights were not on dazlling him with main beam. Still confused, I stared at the strange unhappy peeking-over-the-steering-wheel man. As he got closer, I would recognise those sparkling eyes anywhere. At to which point I beeped. Yet, I found myself so excited, I could not stop beeping, until the car slowly faded away into the distance, like MadMax at the end of a battle scene, angry, yet triumfant. In all his glory, the interceptor helds its stance in my rear view mirror. With no reply, I quickly wrote to my family who live very far away (ilfrcombe) to explain my distaught emotions, at which case I travelled yonger to sticklepath post office to send away this letter dripping with emotion, only to be re-spotted by a fello member!!! Only one can wonder why Bailey did not wave, maybe he was the victum defected by the interceptor and was worried I would notice? (seen you twice at sticklepath now bailey, are you post office watching again?)
  16. yes you will need bigger injectors. 525cc / 550cc are cheap considered against some other cars on the market. pick up a set up 525cc precision injectors for less than 350! then your 400 is in sights!
  17. not heard of anyone using a Fuel Pressure Raiser for an 2JZ NA-T before
  18. put an insurance claim in. if the other party doesnt declare anything, it will go against them. i would inform your neighbour you have his friends details and he has a few hours to get hold of you and offer to pay damages, otherwise your going to the insurance company with a witness from the inncodent. if he is willing to pay you should give him a chance, but not a long chance, as you should really declare it ASAP. this is purely insurance related in my opinion.
  19. show him hodge's engine bay. he'll wonder where its all gone!
  20. not 100% sure, all I know is my 4 bolt wastegate is rubbish, and various sources have had issues, so it's not worth risking fitting it, so just looking into it. Was unsure what sizes I could use, then I was going to choose on sizes able to fit to the manifold.
  21. he will probably ask why you have 2x alternators
