  1. I am mate. some people are undecied..... DodgyRog for example. Jekyl said he can sort me a turbo, so hopefully hook up with him next week or so, then contact DaveH who ran that 1/4 run for another quote for some 525cc injectors... then save up to go get it mapped. Spoke to Ryan already, going for stock compression and trying to break the 400 mark. Makes me feel a bit sorry for myself after seeing this NA-T on stock intake pretty much EAT the road!
  2. Thinking about going NA-T, here's a video that might help you decide Quote "I had some issues with my ported head, so this run was with a stock, unported NA head." http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?648034-New-Personal-Best-7.77-176-mph
  3. yea a few lines going down the side would look nice. im in talk with a guy at the moment. not heard back if he can do etching. fingers crossed he can, this would look the business. plus i wouldnt want a gapping great hole where the logo goes, so i expect other people feel the same. you would need 2 sills per door if you had the logo laser cut, id like a tribal one done mixing into the logo, il probably have to try and figure out how to back it... awesome photos mate. sills look sa'weet! thats a 330 steering wheel yes? do you find much difference driving with smaller wheel than stock
  4. that tyre gel is a right messy product, wear clothes and be prepared to be covered
  5. i think a forum judgement is as professional as your going to get. whos to say a qualified or experienced person won't be biased due to their own previous experience through their younger years. i dont think an accurate list of 100 top cars would ever be possible, each is different in its own right. style, performance, cost, engineering. i think this is as accurate as it needs to be, good on supra for getting into any list for 100 anything!!!
  6. http://www.socalsupras.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10050 Thread from owners forum ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ i think this looks seriously nice.
  7. what was your best ever time ran dude? any idea what the closest run was?
  8. dam thats gonna be looking sweet. supercharged V8, alot of work, hope it turns out well.
  9. ok mate will do. if i get some made, il chase up any interest people have put on here, and make a group buy. shame non of the traders on here supply the item. going on previous stuff ive had made, i expect prices will be around 40GBP due to be custom order. hows that sounding?
  10. any shots without glare mate?
  11. those door sills look like they have engraving on them. with laser cut design there would be the Supra logo removed from the material, or any other design required -possibly V8, TT, JZA80 etc etc. anyone have any photos of more designs required? I will look into doing a group buy if enough interest and the prices are right. i will look into getting a first design made. ANYONE HAVE SOME DIMENSIONS?
  12. indeed i did. i wired in a potentiometer, a variable resistor and linked this into the lighting circuit. if you go down to your friendly maplins store and buy a potentiometer (i bought 10k, though a small value would probably work better as i have 50% adjustable variation with no light whatsoever) and wire it into your LED light wire for the gauges. check here mate for different ones, the 4k7 should be sufficient. http://www.maplin.co.uk/search?criteria=potentiometer when you get it, check the response with a volt meter, make sure you wire it the correct way, as you will typically want to dim the light down when you turn it auto clockwise (as most stuff in industry works on a voltageincrease-clockwise function). you know what i mean when you wire it. need anymore help just ask mate
  13. at the moment im looking at having a twin peice made, 2 seperate peices that would almost look like tribal in the middle where they joined, to give the look of one peice but actually be two. if people would be interested in supra logo designs i could look into having this done. the items would be between 30-35 pounds i would assume. anyone maybe interested?
  14. wing looks great. good idea, looks the business in my opinion.
  15. Not seen many about, anywhere that sells them? Might be able to get a few made, but won't waste my time if I can just buy one.
  16. holy mother! thats alot of gauges mr david. what do they all do? im doing a modified glove box pod but thats only 3 (and only slightly modified). do you not have a dimmer switch wired in?
  17. i saw that. is it still for sale? bit of a selective market that one i reckon.
  18. thanks David. yes, i wired in an 10k potentiometer into the dash (i will get a pic of this and upload it into the thread). The dash circuit has a reducing voltage when the light increases with brightness, instead of trying to figure out why this was (probably due to an earth switch rather than directly controlling power but controlling an earthing point) I just manually control the power to each gauge. Its pretty bright at night times, but when your going down e.g. link road with no one around the contrast is too much. i have a couple more gauges to go in, il wire them up to the same resistor. if your wiring in your own gauges, typically you would be aware of these sorts of components, thought it was a good idea to do it manually.
  19. any chance could grab some dimensions off someone who buys these if they are good fitment? will pay out my bum to get them made but would like to get a custom job done, maybe even a group buy?

  21. Depends what your aim is, a project, or power. They seem to be different targets. I would take Scott's advice. He is like a guru of knowledge, or is the saying a book of knowledge, hmmm, or is it, a leaflet of knowledge.
