  1. lol mate you should of seen me at school, trust, i had the best fairy liquid space bottle ship you've ever seen!!!
  2. Hi all, as you know I'm a keen owner of making new things, something different. And thought I'd post my mini build of another pod set up. Not installed yet, but I'll update it when I get it in. Basic upper glove box pod, fibre glass, whifbitz sourced (from a member). Had the supra logo made from 2mm brushed stainless steel sized down to measurement of my choice. Probably would of been best to place the logo on first, but was worried about using glue as wanted a real flush finish around the logo, a blended look to make it look stock. If any glue had moved from under the logo, would have been a right pain to get rid of and make it look flush, so used silicon on primer. Built layers up using build primer, sanded to a good even finish and sprayed. Came up a good finish, hope it looks good when installed. Thanks for looking.
  3. need to ask politely and see his recation, and if its not what you want then just explode to be fair. offer to treat him the same way his dogs treated yours!
  4. i have 2 cars, i used my 5 door diesel focus for eco-driving and then the supra for enjoyment-driving. you wont be saving running costs enough to warret selling your car IMO. get a cheap 5 door for a couple grand and keep the sup!!
  5. you planning on ditching the dizzy?
  6. mine had 60k miles and it dynoed at 219hp. the only thing going against a reliable low millage supra is the low price!!
  7. my opinion is wait. if a manual is what you want, then you should wait. i had my heart set on a manual as well, if you wait your see a good one pop up eventually. getting itchy feet to buy a car is always a difficult time, imagine if you settle for an auto and see a manual in a few months? at least go and test drive it, some people really like auto's, and from what i've heard they are pretty good. but its all about choice. if someone wanted an auto but found a manual, id be saying the same thing. same situation if you really want a TT you should save, as the cost to go NA-T isn't cheap.
  8. Looked nice, an auto, could see in the window as I was riding the park and ride. Had a modified aeriel, not the stock toyota. had a painted dash as well, was around 1030am. Good condition motor!!
  9. now thats the shizz mate! running the T61 still?
  10. Hi all. I've had a few more of these custom footrests made up, I have standard brushed stainless steel ones which I'll advertise later or tomorrow if I get a chance. This item was just a test peice, thought I'd see if I could get a polished finished. It's been silver plated (yes silver) and highly polished. It's not 100% perfect, there is a slight dark area on the bottom of the footrest, photos show this, but its still a really good finish. £30 posted. This is a one off peice, and due to the length of time polishing it and the cost to silver the item, this will probably be a one off. Thanks

    Abflug combo

had a pic of this car ages ago, and found another pic. was wondering what kind of combination would result in this, as front end looks stock-ish (due to bollock and front wings i think). what do you guys think, maybe this is a `kit` in its own right??
  13. is that where u got ur rog?

    Hello!

nice car mate. i seem to be liking the mkiii's the more i see them you a member on any other mkiii forum?
  15. you should never copy a car. trying to be something is itn't just ruined the car completely!! like putting a turbo badge on a non turbo, i mean W-T-F!
  16. if you dont find any, might be up for doing a group buy as DaveH in US does them for around £330 for 525cc mate
  17. i think a coverage on a car from this forum would be great, it would also be great if they somehow cover the community on here, include maybe a few awesome shot from JAE and other big meets, that video scott done the other day had some amazing shots and made me feel jealous I hadn't attended more events (still loving the wile happy pose). sometimes you get the odd bad comment, and sometimes people take things the wrong way and get offended, but on a whole the forum on here is such a great community it would be a great chance to share it with all the other non-members who also own supras to allow this place to grow
  18. There are a number of other cars I think would be worth a feature, there are any owners who do not big themselves up for such praise where they clearly deserve it. I think some of the V8 and NA-T members on here and showcars should be considered. I don't think JamieP should have yet another feature, I'm sure he doesn't want to steal the lime light from other guys who have also worked really hard on their projects and maybe deserve the chance??
  19. id bring the carbon splitter out a bit further for extra downforce, that stock bumper splitter looks like its coming out further than usual or is it just me?
