I've found a R154 gearbox for sale, but its not in the UK its located in the US (bummer). It's done less than 16,000 kilometers and from the pic looks pretty good condition. The total cost for the box AND to ship it, is £780.00. Is this worth it? I'm aiming for 400bhp reliable, and don't want my w58 falling apart, or if it does I want something a bit stronger. A stronger component is always a good idea, but this seems rather alot for something I've already got, the the w58 `should` be ok at 400 which will be on a high boost setting anyway. Any idea how much the w58 gearbox will go for, as I may be able to offset some money against buying this gearbox. Is it too much money to risk through paypal if not through a company? Thanks

yea its a bit random il admit. im hoping to do my headlight intake a marble effect, as it needs a respray anyway and want to try something new!! i think you should stick with black with the fan mate, get a stainless steel slam panel and it will set the whole lot off well for sure. new black hoses would look sweet in that bay IMO

95mkiv bought a chrome one and had problems. just tidy your current one up mate is my advice. unless you can visually check it first anyway as some are a bit wasted.

if biodiesel is made to the euro standards you are able to sell it legally to run in any motor as reliable as diesel, some supermakrets have biofuel as an option as if it goes through the correct process it has the same combustion properties and your engine won't be damaged by it, injectors will flow it no problem due to viscosity being the same.

buy a universal 3 gauge pod from ebay then mould it onto your current pillar, get a perfect fitment that way. and they look alot better smooth!
