  1. il take your advice and save for UK's so if a set pops up. sorted.
  2. set of 350mm k sports for all round is 1500 ish, set of uk's are normally about 400 if you get off a forum member. def the cheaper option and many would agree the better one.
  3. aren't the UK spec brakes 350mm ish ? how could 330mm k sport's be as good as 350mm UK? i thought it was the surface area that was important over the number of pots
  4. im running the T61 turbo, think I have the same wastegate though I'll change it in the new year. thats the TT auto diff isnt it mate? does it reduce the gear ratio much
  5. cards are registered to the owner not the box. you can record and use a card with any sky plus box as long as the card's pin is verified with sky. the box only checks the server if the card's pin is allowed to view channels and have the record function. when i used to repair sky boxes for a living we could use any card to test any box, we had a subscription card and used to share it around to check the boxes were working. it might have changed since HD has been out for a while, but I remember repairing HD boxes and this was still the case. You could get away with using a twin lnb rather than a quad, as this is just repeating the number of signals you can receive. if your not going to use sky in different rooms you could just use a twin tuner. you need another cable running through like scott said so you can record one channel, and view another. technology currently cant run 2 different channel signals down 1 cable.
  6. mines the same. il let me mechanic know when i drop the parts off. thanks for letting me know
  7. Last I heard he had stopped trading. Best to check though.
  8. Yea i just asked him. bad mlife!
  9. thanks for your input mate, can't wait to get it fitted now for sure!
  10. could do all this and just eat my gearbox on the way from from tuning lol fingers crossed eh
  11. Thats what i thought. I was worried it would crumble. Parry has 420+ and hasn't had an issue, so im hoping il hold out at 400 for a while until I can find an R154 for sale. Which would be great if i could, drop the compression slightly and go for 600 with the highest possible compression, and maybe a little higher will probably need a stand alone at that point.
  12. I think using the styling of the kit may look good, but don't cover the graphics and stickers. No copy was ever as good or better than the original.
  13. the 90's spec celica's were nice, the 97 onwards new shape was a bit naff in my opinion. this is a nice looking car, be good to see some handling reviews onces it on the market.
  14. im so excited about getting it all sorted. im probably going to be giggling like a little girl. i probably would have saved time and money going TT, but theres no way id be as happy as if I selected it all myself and had the road trip to get it all fitted. im worried my gearbox will fall apart as i do drive pretty hard.
  15. I've never seen this brand of lightweight flywheel listed as BHP product but I have seen ones which state they will give you. Transmission upgrades are only chasing the standard good condition engine rating anyway I expect. As a goal of 400 I was just hoping for a tiny bit extra speed with the same bhp. Have you ever noticed a difference chris, even on other cars?
  16. will do. didnt think you'd want to get one as you want a 6 speed... the dark side
  17. i have 6 puck on mine i beleive. did you have a flywheel as well?
  18. Right guys, cars booked in to have the clutch out and a stage 4 competition clutch and lightweight flywheel put in, ready for my NA-T conversion hopefully very very soon. Anyone had any experience from the lighter flywheell, better response or quicker revving? I know its a limited modification but any opinions welcome. The clutch had to be changed anyway as the stock ones just melt so thought I'd chuck it a light flywheel for good measure. Good or bad views?
