i have a top glove box, one side of the release button is missing though cheapy cheapy
  2. the extra cost for insurance, tax and the initial purchase of the car WILL BE cheaper than using your supra every day. i spend about 40 pound a week in fuel in my focus. when driving the supra that doubles. over a year, thats 2080 extra just to drive the supra every day. that pays for my car and extra insurance and extra tax in less than a year! having owned the supra for one year this month ive just started to cover my cost. unless you have two cars and calcualte it out mate you cant be sure. unless you do low miles which wouldnt be worth the change.
  3. if your thinking of selling ur car as u are skint the worst thing you could do it buy a UK TT, they are loads more compared to a JSpec TT. you can buy a decent car rog without having top of the range honda! my focus is a 2000 tdi and its NEVER let me down. im sure they are thousands of good cars worth less than half what you paid. my laptop's worth more than my focus and it runs a dream. you could get alot newer car than mine that would be just as reliable for sure!
  4. you just bought her a new civic tyre R mate get rid of that first!
  5. if you don't pay for the conversion like through keiron altogether i think peicing it will cost a fair amount. what are your reasons for going TT?
  6. did you find an obvious increase with performance? id be interested in mid range performance rather than top end, though i know cams typically come into their own higher the rev range.
  7. how come your injectors are so big? surely you could run same bhp with smaller ones they are HUUUUGE!
  8. for a service id recommend any respectable garage you trust. only when your tampering with things would you need to go to someone who is a proven specialist IMO. i service my own but thats to try and save the pennies. there are a few decent dyno's down plymouth, but if its just for a slight tune you should be ok. id recommend travelling if you wanted to install some serious gear and get a map done but thats new ECU or piggy back stuff so you should be ok somewhere thats got a good reputation as a dyno tune will normally only involve playing with the timing.
  9. Welcome! Parts like these are not common mate, you can buy carbon supra parts will be dotted all around the country and maybe further. Not many supra shops down this way. Google supra carbon and you can find lots of goodies, hoods, boots, wings. ive looked into making a carbon fibre spoiler before due to the treatment requires its a pain. Little num has wrapped his and it looks fairly tidy. Unless you go with a half carbon TRD wing or aftermarket of course. For bodykit ideas check the bodykit sticky thread Seem to be getting lots of southwest members here lately!
  10. Hi guys. Was wondering how high lift cams affects general driving through the rev range. Saw a GE with 312 and got me thinking about what it would be to drive. I've seen some evil sounding 280's and was just wondering how it feels depending on if you go with 264 or above. Thanks

    supra 3.0 non turbo

    try a bit more like 400: http://www.socalsupras.com/reference/NAsupra.htm
  17. id say nearer the 6k mark after all the bits are split and sold. gearbox is knocking on 2k. and yea i was taking the urine. but id wager with sweets and cake and to be fair mate, its quite obvious who has won the bidding here.
  18. monsween il give you 450 for the gearbox.
  19. Condition not overly important. Will even consider damaged. Thanks
  20. dont see why not. i think its an image thing as well. the easiest option would definitely place it down there and feed it up. another option would be coldfeed at front, but that doesnt look as pretty. was a GT4 engine. they were rated at different bhp spec's.
  21. What materials make it aren't important, its the concept of new ideas and something custom that i like. a form of paste that goes hard will never get me excited, its what it can make thats important Your a dangerous man near a zumba class with those laser eyes

NA is a solid engine. turbo conversion easily enough. but save for a TT if thats what u want. i wanted to motor around for a bit before i went turbo, as i didnt want to wait. but trust me, going turbo is a expensive thing, and more of an experience than a finanical or sensible idea. buying a manual NA and going turbo is the same as an auto TT if not a phat lump thrown in on top. decide what you want a save. i wanted an NA, now i want to turbo it. if u want a TT save bailey has a real nice example for sale, but there are LOADS of nice TT;s for sale, just have to find that needle in the haystack
  23. wont have anything to compare against, im hoping the % increase will definitely help with the larger volume of power. did u go lightweight flywheel before or after turbo conversion dude?
  24. yes thats correct, your laser vision works perfect!
