thing is if the guy has sent it damaged how would you know. did the box look damaged? it should be an easy fix, support behind it and smooth over the crack. if they charge you anything more than £5 id want to claim it on principle

Its highly recommended to declare all modification on your vehicle, not doing so will make your insurance invalid, and you could be sued for liabilities. Its a legal requirement, but its your choice if you decide not to. A boost controller is a performance increasing modification, which would definitely affect your insurance. As soon as mines fitted, it will be on the list.

clean motor

Started cleaning the first headlight up today, just spent a bit of time on it. Need to split the second light before I start getting stuff blasted. Dipped lense and surround was painted, looks pretty naff IMO so surround will be getting sand blasted, silver plated, polished and laquered to give it that nice chrome effect. Was considering angel eyes, but think it might look a bit too chavy with the intakes and all. Lense had been covered in paint and was in need of a good clean with thinners and a quick polish. Need to do the same to second light, and get the surrounds sent off. Need to start removing the main beam and fog light unit. If anyone needs any headlight spares for mainbeam or fog light let me know as I won't be needing them.

read your review before mate, and was tempted to get some after reading this. until i have the vital components i need and am happy with everything running i was still undecided. id like bran spanking new ones and unless a cheap set pop up i still may be tempted when the time comes.

I know various threads have compared the two different types, and results seem to say that they perform the same (given on size). Was wondering if anyone had actually upgraded from Uk Spec brakes to K-Sport and felt any difference. I would assume due to being similar in performance the change would have to be to a much larger set of brakes to warrent the purchase. Random question I know
